CBI... News & Announcements
What the hay.....coming from the CBI this morning.....an attention getter no less.....they announce the suspension of trade in dollars....I see more progress being made by PM Abadi....he knows what has to be done, he understands the sequencing of events....this week and maybe into next week as well....I see a number of events happening at perfectly timed moments....orchestrated moves if you will....who has tickets to the ballet....to a broadway play that is opening as we stand in line....the music is rising and everyone is dashing for their seats so as to not miss the opening act.
Abadi, head to China next Wednesday
What a cool cucumber PM Abadi is.....making such strong announcements and changes over the weekend, then turning around today and saying that he will be traveling to China next week on Wednesday for a three day tour....impressive....a strong signal of one who feels fully in charge and knows he has good people that are capable of being left in charge while he moves about the world.....plus he is sending a message to a chosen few....."see I can travel....but you can't".....nanner....nanner....nanner.....Abadi will be heading a delegation that travels to China for talks on economic, political, and security issues.....some mighty big topics in today's world.
The secrets of what is going on in the Green Zone .. arrests and investigations with senior officials and leaders of the army and security
So there have been a number of arrests within the Green Zone....primarily military types at this point....those believed to have been active in one way or another in corruption related activities...this comes at a time when security details for high level government officials are being cut.....down to 10 for ministers and 8 for Parliament members.....any and all suspects of corruption are essentially having their wings clipped and being told make no travel plans outside of Iraq until the investigation against them is completed.
Work: simplify the granting of micro-credit income-generating measures
It is time to clear the air and clear the way to put loans in front of deserving citizens and remove any red tape and especially anyone or entity that may have in the past tried to coerce citizens in any way while they were applying for such loans....these loans are intended to benefit the people and the economic situation within Iraq...they are not intended to strengthen the coffers and pockets of thugs....it is good and right for the government to be focused upon such improvements.
Iraqi politicians have no where to flee to
For starters if you have done no wrong.....if you are not guilty of corrupt wrong-doing...then you should have no desire or need to flee.....for those who are guilty....may God help their souls.....they cast their lot with the wrong crowd....it was their own doing....the result most likely of following the crowd at the time....everyone is doing it.....everyone is filling their pockets and their mattresses and their foreign bank accounts....why not me.....
But now those same individuals are left with no where to go, no where to hide....and soon they will be left with nothing to show for their lying and cheating ways.....well save for a lengthy prison sentence or meeting with a necktie committee....crime does not pay.
PM Abadi is doing Iraq a huge favor and service....he is going to put Iraq back on the right track from an international business sense....he is going to see that Iraqi citizens get what should have been coming to them for the past 10-12 years but instead lined the pockets and bank accounts of a large number of crooked politicians....pray he continues in a manner that will ferret out all the corrupt thugs and return their spoils to the rightful owners...the Iraqi population.
Abadi: I will not defend any corrupt the process of reform and we will go full force
PM Abadi continues his strong and historic march against corruption and terrorism....he visited Anbar this week and witnessed a high level of morale amongst troops fighting there to eliminate the DAASH terrorist threat....he also took time to listen to concerned citizens in the area that is still being ravaged by war against the terrorists.....
He listens.....he interacts...and he responds in a strong and firm fashion that will carry his reforms through to a success that will be felt throughout Iraq and will impact the world as well.....he stands above the corruption and is committed to staying in the fight to the end be it for the elimination of terrorists or the elimination of corruption.....both are equally visible on his radar and both will have justice served upon them.
Achieve Integrity: 66 open a corruption case against senior officials in the State
Some 66 files are open today against members of Parliament and other senior officials....but a number of these individuals are believed to enjoy immunity at this time due to their positions.....however.....I believe PM Abadi has plans for their demise....as the immunity becomes a thing of the past as they are booted from office....Abadi has made a number of statements rather loudly and strongly that he will not defend anyone accused of any type of corruption....he will not stand by them no matter their level in the government.....so today you may enjoy this immunity....but know it will be short lived.....and you may flee but you cannot hide.
Official statement: Abadi visit to China focused on the economy and armament
PM Abadi and his delegation will travel to China next week for meetings with his counterpart....arriving on Wednesday and leaving on Friday.....they will be discussing economic issues as well as energy concerns that relate to oil and gas production and exports as well as means to build upon the current military and police situations within Iraq.
Trade: we will hold all of manipulating evidence and stealing people's livelihood will not hesitate to punishment and reform
The Ministry of Commerce has spoken today and will be pursuing anyone who may have had a hand in any kind of theft relating to ration cards where Iraqi citizens had funds stolen from their cards....committees will be formed to assess at what levels such corruption may have been going on within the ministry and those who are found guilty will be brought to justice....they appear to be parroting the words of PM Abadi in saying that no one accused or found guilty of corruption will be defended or allowed to stay in their position.
Zamili's / Baghdadi News /: tomorrow the announcement of the results of the investigation in the case of the fall of Mosul .. great figures bear responsibility
Big announcements coming tomorrow it would seem.....on top of the COM having their planned meeting we can also expect to see an announcement regarding the final report of the investigation into the fall of Mosul last year in June when the terrorists were allowed to overrun the city and associated provinces.
After the bold reforms .. Abadi, visiting the front lines in Anbar
After a visit with military leadership in Ramadi this week, PM Abadi took to the streets of Ramadi to talk to the people and listen to their complaints and concerns....Abadi appears relaxed but serious in his walk on this day.....the citizens he encountered were thankful for his attention and looked to be respectful of his plans for Iraq and its citizens....
He is not being seen as a new dictator but rather "one of the citizens".....one of the guys. Time will tell rather quickly just how far reaching his plans will be and how effective he is allowed to be.....as the government takes on a different form and his powers change in the process....this appears to be a trustworthy individual who is bent on making reform changes to Iraq that will build this nation into a strong world power.
Tomorrow .. Abadi called second package of reform include independent bodies, judicial and military institutions
We are less than 24 hours from a new announcement by PM Abadi of a second package of reforms.....a package that he has promised will include military, judicial, and independent bodies and institutions....just what will be the details of this package remain to be seen, but it is reasonably assured that it will be a well thought out process and plan that he will bring to the people of Iraq.
Infallible adviser denies the latter claim to keep al-Maliki as his deputy
President Masum of Iraq has been amazingly quiet during this week or reform announcements that have all stemmed from PM Abadi.....this kind of article seems ludicrous at best...that Masum would even hint at wanting to keep Maliki on in any capacity.....here is the opportunity to sack the problem once and for all....take it.....this is the hyperactivity that you get from social media....beware of your sources.
Abadi: I want authorization to amend the Constitution
You wanted a bold and courageous PM.....here he comes....asking to be given authority to amend the Iraqi Constitution...trust me he says....there should be some good come of this in my opinion.....but it has to be built upon trust from the start.
Parliamentary Integrity: open the files of corruption next week
At long last files will be opened and actions will be taken starting in the next week where it is believed that corruption was an issue, regardless of the level where it might have occurred.....look for some interesting announcements in the coming days as this whole process begins to unfold before the eyes of the world.....while there are many rocks that have been uncovered I am sure there will be many rocks where some hard core thugs will attempt to hide.....grab some popcorn and watch as they create a rather interesting scenario that may just rock the world.
The central bank completed five trillion dinars lending mechanisms
The CBI stands poised and ready to bring forth five trillion dinars to Iraqi banks as part of a lending program that is designed to help Iraqi citizens and small businesses as well as the Iraqi economy.....the final touches have been put on the process and the mechanisms that needed to be put into place have been completed and they are ready to move this program forward.....the recipients will be afforded a reasonable interest rate of 3%....they also believe the process has been streamlined so loan processing time will be minimal for those applying.
Abadi, who released (Palace of Light) the residence of al-Maliki
First they took away his jet, then his automobiles, then his job and security details.....now they have taken his home....his palace of lights....where will Maliki go....who really cares....we just know he cannot leave the country.
A source in the Integrity: Abadi face to activate the committee where did you get this and sent an official letter open Nuri al-Maliki, Bahaa al-Araji and other file
PM Abadi is quickly proving he is no one's fool.....he has prepared a committee to put some interesting questions in front of Maliki....the primary one of course..."where did you get this".....along with some other key questions that seek answers to some of his alleged wrong-doing during his reign as PM....the corruption he condoned...the sacking of Dr. S and Dr. S of the CBI...mysterious loans that were made....but where did the real proceeds end up....the killing of thousands of Iraqis...the list goes on and on.....he will be busy for some time fabricating answers I am sure.
Abadi canceled half-Maliki's influence
PM Abadi has been busy this week in cancelling a number of decisions that were previously made by Maliki that concern the military at some very high levels.....pushing out many and demanding retirement of other key officials....some of this action will have an impact on the level of control that was garnered by the State of Law coalition and how it grabbed Parliament seats....Abadi will not stand for any corruption within his government and he is proving his point by his actions this week....meanwhile Maliki's influence continues to shrink as Abadi takes further action....and this is only the beginning.

Welcome local, regional and international wide reforms Abadi
With the first round of reforms sweepingly approved by the Iraqi Parliament on Tuesday we are witnessing a much farther reaching show of support for his actions as not only the people are showing support...the various levels of government within Iraq are showing strong support and the international community is providing even more green lights for PM Abadi and his reform actions that promise to eradicate as much corruption from the government and country as possible.....and more are coming as early as tomorrow....strike while the iron is hot....no doubt.
Abadi: Implementation of the reforms will not be easy
PM Abadi is standing before his government with change in hand....with far-reaching reforms that will see the canning of many government employees and leaders because of past prior roles that involved some level of corruption....if your hands were soiled you are out he is saying for he will not support corrupt officials......even if it costs him his life....
He is putting everything on the line here......everything.....he is attempting to take Iraq out of the sewers in terms of corruption and make the country a respectable entity before the Iraqi citizens and the world....no it will not be an easy road to walk....but it can be done and this man has the capability and business sense to make it happen.
General amnesty law .. long-awaited by discounting the political pressure
All I'm going to say is....here is a grand opportunity for the Speaker of Parliament to put his newest rule into play.....let's see you get this law passed in 28 days or less.....yep that is your commitment.....can it be done....prove it to us.....then let's see you tee up some of the other laws that have been lagging....the National Guard Law....Investment Law....oh and don't forget....the HCL while you are at it.
Abadi relieve the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers and his aides from office
Scratching my head a bit here.....has PM Abadi relieved the Secretary General of COM from his duties along with his aides....or is he exempting him and his aides from any action to be taken.....I'm hoping WS or the other news folks can shed some additional light on this as the day progresses....interesting turn none the less.....ok I peeked ahead just a little and I'm offended to see that boxman is equally confused with this article too....someone named Harry just whispered in my ear a Donald Trump phrase....."You are fired"......well if that is the case.....Abadi seems very serious that he will defend no one when it comes to corruption.
Time for a break and stretching of the legs.....btw....thanks for the kudos about the Bible Study from last night, I really appreciate everyone who shows up.
Aloha Randy
