Doodle Brain: Back to the bonds..."some" are suggesting that the extension is because they didn't get the job done in selling enough bonds. Your feeling?
Secondly, all these banking changes/education.
Is this why they are having the meeting in Beirut on the 15th re: Lebanese Banking in Iraq?
Lastly, comment...re: the Legal Database Website, I couldn't get to it using .com so I tried .iq. Perhaps that is the address?

Tiger: Is it true Iraq had an international bond sale about 10 years ago ? If they did what prevents them from selling bonds today at the current level of the IQD ?
Millionday: THEY ARE SELLING BONDS WITH THE DOLLAR THEY GET FROM OIL SALES BUT THE ECONOMIC SITUATION WOULD NOT Allow the sale of dinar bonds imo due to the huge loss of currency and the process they have announced FOR ECONOMIC REFORM AND MONETARY POLICY
