sczin11: REGARDING THE ABOVE ARTCLE AND MORE.....
sczin11: IMHO, WHAT REPORTS LIKE THIS FAIL TO ADDRESS, IS THE FACT THAT THE CUSTOMS AND TARIFFS LAW OF 2010, WAS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE LIQUIDITY AT A TIME OF FINANCIAL CRISIS, LIKE THEY CLAIM TODAY EXISTS..
IT WAS ALWAYS TO PROVIDE A SOURCE, AN ADDITIONAL SOURCE OF REVENUE FOR THE COUNTRY..
THEY DIDNT WAIT UNTIL THE 5 YEAR MARK TO IMPLEMENT THE LAW, BECAUSE THEY HAD A LIQUIDITY NEED...
THE INTENDED PURPOSE, WAS TO PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL BALANCE, MEET REQUIREMENTS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS, TO WHICH IRAQ WISHES TO BE A PART OF,
AND AT THE SAME TIME, ENABLE THE COUNTRY TO ENTER THE OPEN MARKET GLOBAL ECONOMY... BY PROVIDING ALL THE NECESSARY PRE REQUISITES,
THE END RESULT WAS NEVER INTENDED TO HURT THE CITIZENS OF IRAQ, WHO HAVE SUFFERED MORE THAN THEIR FAIR SHARE OF HARDSHIP,
RATHER BRING JOBS, MONEY, AND OPPORTUNITY TO THEM..
REBUILDING IRAQ WAS THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN, RETURNING IRAQ TO A SOVEREIGN DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY WAS THE DREAM...
IN TURN, OPENING THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY TO SHARE IN ALL ITS OFFERINGS...RELIGIOUS, ECONOMIC TOURISM AND INDUSTRY, AND WEALTH!
HOW CAN ANYONE ARGUE, BERATE, THOSE POINTS...THE LIQUIDITY ISSUE WAS NEVER EVEN A THOUGHT, UNTIL RECENTLY...
INSTEAD OF HAVING EXTRA REVENUE, TO HELP THE PEOPLE, THEY ARE SPEWING RHETORIC OF THE NEED TO SURVIVE DAY TO DAY WITH THESE MONIES...
DOUBLE DIPPING IN A WAY! FOR THOSE WITH THE "20/20 HINDSIGHT OPINIONS",
ALL I CAN SAY IS YOU ARE CORRECT, TODAY...AS YOU HAVE BEEN UP UNTIL THIS POINT,
BUT DONT CLAIM THAT YOU KNEW IT ALL THE TIME,
AND NOTHING THAT IS HAPPENING MEANS ANYTHING REGARDING THE CHANGE IN THE EXCHANGE RATE...CAUSE ITS THE SAME PEOPLE THAT WHEN WE SEE THE COMPLETION OF THE MONETARY REFORM, WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO SHOUT OUT, " I TOLD YOU SO!

chattels: ‹@sczin11› coincidentally I observed a few days ago as follows, " Maliki's fate may lie with the Shia internal battle ( National Alliance ) to choose their next leader. My sense is that Maliki cannot survive in the margins of political power. chattels: ‹@captl1› the contested laws do not make the Parliamentary agenda historically - they swing back and forth " in committee " in search of a consensus in my observation
chattels: ‹@captl1› we shall see whether Jobbourri's recent " threat " will prove otherwise
captl1: Well the ones that were listed make zero sense for a country that is on the verge of a civil war if they don't start acting.
chattels: whether he will put the Parliamentary members on the spot publically with the scheduling of a "vote " ?
chattels: or vote(s)
captl1: he should and he should also call out he ones who are trying to stop any progress.
