chattels: ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — The Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi militias say joint Iraqi forces are in the final stages of preparations to launch a final offensive against Islamic State positions in Anbar province.
Karim Nouri, a spokesperson of the group, said Shiite and government forces will continue their joint operation to push back militants who captured large swaths of central Iraq beginning last year, including the Anbar provincial capital Ramadi.
More than 10,000 armed forces members took part in July operations to retake the Sunni province amid an escalating refugee crisis as thousands of families migrated towards Kurdish borders in the north fearing Shiite retaliation. “Security forces are in full control of almost all key roads to the city of Ramadi,” Nouri told Rudaw, adding that ISIS militants were on the defensive and had retreated from vast areas without major clashes.
Despite Nouri’s claims, Iraqi forces have made multiple attempts to retake Ramadi since it was taken by ISIS in May, with little discernible success.

H.E. mentioned in the speech delivered on the global youth day that: "defeating Da'esh became so close and we found during our visit yesterday to the frontlines in Anbar that the morale of our fighters are high and they are fighting unified, referring that the Fatwa of the honored Marja'ya is clear about the necessity of fighting under the Iraqi flag".
H.E. added that he will not defend any corruptor and no one is targeted in the process of reform. "We will keep on this reform and strike with an iron fist against corruptors", referring that "this process will not be easy and corruptors will not keep silent but we will continue until we finish the mission of fighting corruption and fixing the conditions".
H.E. bewared from those who try to mix cards by imposing unreasonable and contradictory demands into the demonstrators' requirements, as destroying the institutions will not serve the country.
Dr. Al-Abadi said that: "I hail the demonstrators who should be cautious of some parties who try to pull them into conflict with the security forces".
He also mentioned that there is a conspiracy against the region to control its resources, so the region should contribute in fighting terrorism referring that Turkey joined lately the fight against these gangs but I call the latter on to respect good neighboring as we reject Turkey's bombardment to the Iraqi lands under the pretext of attacking the PKK because the latter exists inside the Turkish land, and there are Iraqi Christian families whose houses and crops have been burnt as a result of these attacks.
