~~~
Sam: ‹@Dianne777› i will agree with that
Donnie: pretty much says the tariffs and custom laws are in affect:
Donnie: It confirmed the Customs Authority, on Monday, to start applying the tariff law on goods entering Iraq, indicating that it agreed with the Kurdistan region on the application of the law and the unification of Alkmarki work, while economic Parliamentary Committee promised that the law is an important step to re-strengthen the joints of the state and the protection of national product, economic adviser counting the prime minister, that the lack of a border applied to any port in violation of the national sovereignty of customs.
Donnie: ‹@newbieDA› TY for the article
 newbieDA: He adds Jassim, that "the government has given room for standing three months, to overcome the month of Ramadan, before starting to enforce the law effectively,"
 noting that "the General Administration of Customs created the supplies necessary for the application of the law at border posts," pointing out that "the law will allow Iraq to join the WTO membership global ".
Sam: three months  --  so RV possibly with in the next 3 months??????
newbieDA: that is big, WTO
Sam: since that has always been said tariffs equals RV
Sam: yes even WTO = RV
jazzyblue: well we know one of them will eventually equal the rv........maybe the sum of all
MzDiva: all i know its a process maybe this is their year to process and give rate for the 2016 JMO  --  look how long it too them to open the budget and get announced
Donnie: ‹@Sam› someone used to say "opening the budget means RV" - that didn't work out too well either.
MzDiva: ‹@Donnie› lol
Sam: ‹@Donnie› yep
Donnie: ‹@Sam› i read an article that discussed the 3 mos was started months ago with the cig tax increase of 300% so I don't believe the 3 mos starts now. I believe this is well into the overall 3 mos.
Donnie: i wish I could find that article....
Sam: ‹@Donnie› interesting BUT as you stated above everything that has been started as an event including the election has not brought on the RV
jazzyblue: this one donnie? Sales tax The Budget Act introduces new sales taxes on car purchases and transport tickets at 15%, cellular telephone SIM cards and the Internet at 20%, and on the sale of cigarettes and alcoholic beverages at 300%.
jazzyblue: 20 April 2015.............Iraqi Government approves the 2015 federal budget
jazzyblue: http://ift.tt/1P2aWFw...
http://ift.tt/1MISAuM
jazzyblue: dont know if thats it but thats something i ran across that includes what you just said
Donnie: ‹@jazzyblue› that looks like it but the one i remember also talked about the tariffs in the same article thus leading me to believe those taxes was the beginning of the 3 mos.
Donnie: but what do i know.....
Donnie: this is strange "The central bank sold more than $ 272 million" cause the XXX XXX said the CBI sells Dinar and buys dollars. strange contradiction with this CBI article.
Donnie: http://ift.tt/1LEwWYk...
http://ift.tt/1P2aWFy
jazzyblue: well the article was from 3 months ago but sorry :(
sczin11: ‹@Donnie› LOL
Doug_W: BGG DiagyAAAE: IMHO it has EVERYTHING to do with a rate - the WB/IMF has (essentially) told them to get their AML policies in order or they will WOP them back to the stone ages (in currency value). aka - BLACKLISTED...
] jazzyblue: i dont if that has anything to do with a rate but the did tell them they had so many month or length of time to get their i guess aml on the books
jazzyblue: or suffer the blacklist alternative
Doug_W: lol
Donnie: ARE THE TARIFFS AND TAXES BEING IMPLEMENTED A SIGNIFICANT STEP IN THE MONETARY REFORM? It signals a transfer of powers to the provinces.
Donnie: WHAT WILL THE PROVINCES BE ABLE TO DO? Govern themselves financially like our states do.
jazzyblue: OH i didnt realize that is what i had spelled lol
Donnie: AND WHAT MUST BE IN PLACE AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL FIRST? At the federal level, the central bank must give autonomy to the government.
Donnie: AND THAT MOVE GIVES THE PEOPLE THE POWER TO DO BIZ WITH ANYONE ANYWHERE THEY WANT.....
Donnie: AND ALLOWS THE PROVINCES TO CHARGE TAXES WHAT TAX STRUCTURE MUST BE IN PACE FIRST? AND WITH NO HOLES IN IT??
Donnie: THEIR TAX STRUCTURE!!
Donnie: ITS NOT THE AMOUNT OR IF THEY HAVE BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS... ITS UNIFORMITY ACROSS THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!!!
Donnie: i thought that discussion from MyLadies was interesting so I posted it here. Ignore it if you don't like it     Donnie: http://ift.tt/1BNbnBC...
http://ift.tt/1KMhTco
jazzyblue: and am i correct in saying (might be wrong) that if a country is placed on the blacklist (fatf list of non compliance) their currency cannot be used for traded or anything ?
[jazzyblue: so in retrospect it would not be a RATE that is the problem, no rate would help if you cant even use the currency
max: currency worth nothing world wide if blacklisted
jazzyblue: that what i thought
BOBBY: Donnie.... question........ i thought the dinar was only used in country?
Donnie: ‹@BOBBY› yes it is. so far.
BOBBY: Donnie... thanks.. wanted confirmation
jazzyblue: okay i am going to take a trip down long ago memory lane, try to bear with me here......if i am wrong on any count of this, i totally stand corrected and admit so.....when i first started going to dinar chat sites it was a fairly long time ago....i started out at a place called peoples dinar (stevei and company)
....yeah steve *** *** *** *** *** ....one day he explained things to the chat room that has always stuck with me.........this is how he saw it......
the strategical framework, which includes the monetary reform is like a cogwheel ...
for the wheel to turn it must contain all the spokes, which in turn, turns the next cogwheel......
his point being that all points (spokes) of the monetary reform must be put into that wheel in turn that would be part of or the last spoke for the strategical framework…..which would finally force that wheel to turn....
so i look for the parts of the monetary reform that are not done and should/will be and well then that helps the rest.......now i know this all sounds real dumb but it help me not be so hard pressed as to when where and how........you can ridicule me and laugh at me now :(
chattels: DUHOK, Kurdistan Region – President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani delivered a speech Monday in Duhok at a ceremony to honor the first anniversary of the Shingal Massacre, which the Islamic State, or ISIS, enacted upon Kurdish Yezidis. “
Nothing hurt me as much as the catastrophe that befell the Yazidi Kurds,” Barzani said in ceremony that was televised by Rudaw.
He continued: “I promise, God willing, that we will liberate Shingal very soon. Shingal is located in area distant from the Kurdistan region and the enemy has benefited from this distance which has kept us from liberating the area." Barzani also warned against inappropriate violence.
“I promise retribution from all the criminals, but through legal ways. I call the Yezidi brothers not to carry out random vengeful acts, because that will create negative reactions towards Kurdistan region and our Yazidi brothers and sisters,” Barzani said.
“We will take our revenge on the battlefields," he added
