chattels: BAGHDAD, Iraq - Thousands of Iraqis took to the streets of Baghdad and gathered at the capital’s ahrir Square on Friday, demanding change and backing reforms proposed by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi this week.
More than 10,000 people took part in the demonstrations, waving Iraqi flags and chanting slogans in support of reforms announced Sunday, which include shrinking the size of the Iraqi government by nixing deputy presidential and prime ministerial posts. Protests also took place in Babel, Basra and al-Kut.

The second is south and southwest of Fallujah, where agricultural areas extend to the Euphrates River, and the desert of Anbar, which was and remains IS’ biggest hideout.
The magnitude, duration and timing of the upcoming battle in Anbar remain unknown.
However, the battle of Fallujah is surely going to be massive, and it will be the first step to regain the city of Ramadi and the rest of Anbar, as long as the Iraqi forces do not fall victim to the war of attrition within the city’s mined neighborhoods. Read more: http://ift.tt/1U6ADse...
