Thursday News Summaries and Commentaries
More Malarkey.....I mean Maliki in the news today.....Iran says don't threaten him.....Iraq says he is not permitted to travel to Tehran....they are no dummies.....if he leaves he will never come back....
PM Abadi is postponing the meeting with COM today....probably allowing the "former" Secretary General to get his "stuff" cleared out along with his staff, although Abadi says he needs a bit more time to get his reform plans/packages ready to be discussed.....
My opinion.....he's watching the dust settle and has his ducks in a row already.....he has a concern for the posturing from Iran.....or does he....he still plans to leave the country next Wednesday for China and return on Friday....sounds like someone who is reasonably assured of things being under control.

Money, yes I said money is to be paid to the provinces and regions next week on an equal basis it sounds like, I think the number was something like 750 billion dinars each.....with the purge on....I'm expecting Abadi and crew who remain to announce that more money is available in the near future....just a hunch.
Researcher: Central and loans reforms CFS will kick economy
Wow the firing of one loan officer is freeing up the ability to provide investment opportunities as well as help the economy and bring the private sector to the forefront of the construction and development process....
I'm smelling previous issues that had caused PM Abadi and his followers to basically be hamstrung due to the particular people in certain places holding control over much of the needed action for economic reform....
That seems to be melting away as PM Abadi's reform plans are being implemented and his purge of those suspected or charged with corruption comes to light....a grand plan is evolving right before our very eyes......the look of amazement is for real and quickly evolving into a look of astonishment.....pay close attention to what transpires.
Adviser to Khamenei told al-Hakim and al-Abadi warning Tehran of providing al-Maliki to trial
You know they say that possession is 9/10's of the law....and right now Maliki is in the possession of Iraq.....he is not allowed to travel outside of the country and the last time I looked Tehran is outside of the Iraqi borders.....be careful with your threats....
I'm believing that PM Abadi does not take such things well. As the whole world watches Iran emerge out from under its previous sanctions they seem quick to take the bully in the street stance with regard to Maliki and Iraq's position of holding him within the confines of the country.....
Iran is going to the extent even of saying a former trip to Iran last November had some kind of holistic strategy involved with it....they seem to want to hold Maliki to some higher level.....no matter what they might think of him, he remains a snake in the grass, and any pedestal that Tehran might put him on just brings him that much closer to the noose which hangs above his head....
there is no amount of praise, veneration, or appreciation owed to Maliki for all the damage he had done to Iraq and the lives he has stolen during his 8 years as PM.....if Iran thinks otherwise, it just shows the barbarian mentality they are well known for in the world....and IMO....brings question to their real motives behind the latest agreements made in July.....beware of the wolf in sheep's clothing.
Infallible denies sending a request to parliament to "keep" one of his deputies in office
Once again the media makes fools of themselves in what and how they report news.....President Masum emphatically denying any such claims that he had tried to retain one of his VP's, especially Maliki.....this is further proof of media fabrication to get people riled up, to sell stories, and to cause general hate and discontent among the common people....this is getting to be more and more common place around the world and is giving the media a huge black eye.
Abadi public campaign calling for the postponement of his trip to China to implement reforms
She loves me....she loves me not.....will he go to China......bet he won't.....which way will PM Abadi lean when it is time to get on the jet for China will he go or will he stay.....there are 6 days until he leaves for China and so much could happen in those 6 days.....I'm thinking he's keeping all options open at this point in time.....there is no doubt that Abadi's presence carries a great deal of weight.....if he were to leave Iraq next week, that would leave a huge void in Iraq....is that a wise thing to do at the moment.....depends I think on how things develop over the next few days.
A coalition of state law gives "absolute freedom" of Ebadi to choose his ministers according to their competence and integrity
According to one deputy with the State of Law coalition PM Abadi has their full blessing to choose whom he thinks is best qualified for any ministry positions that are being vacated, based on his perception of their competency and integrity....I'm thinking he will do a great deal better than the State of Law did in selecting its current leader, Maliki.....does this sudden backing from the State of Law have anything to do with the rumor that Abadi just might be their next leader as Maliki is fully and completely ousted.....again beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.
Saleh appearance: directed government to move the productive sectors
I was just yesterday wondering where our good buddy Dr. Saleh has been.....and now we hear from him today.....he identifies with the need to continue moving towards a productive market within Iraq....he sees this happening in a couple of ways...first through a physical infrastructure....the physical entity taking shape.....and the other involves the driver behind the whole process in other words what and who is pushing the economy to take form.....
He foresees the building of creative units in forming companies with a close association developing between these newly forming companies and the loan process we are seeing evolving from the CBI and the banks of Iraq.....and all of this require protection by laws....laws that are effective in providing the necessary umbrella for small and medium sized entities to thrive and flourish at a time when such efforts have grossly failed.....
He is talking about significant change in the form of Abadi's reform packages....a change though that will be welcome by many if not all Iraqis once they see what it will fully entail....no doubt such change will be slow to catch on, there will be many who doubt and still others who will attempt to detract....but given time and the right level of support this will allow Iraq and its citizens to reap just rewards....as will the world.

Under the auspices of the most prominent follow-Maliki .. House members enjoy the "100 salary advance" of up to 400 million!
Could this be the last time we see the photo of the "acting" governor of the CBI in this capacity.....it seems he will be in line with Maliki and many others who have been tested and found to have their hands dirty from corrupt activities.....
the CBI itself as an entity is and should be above reproach when it comes to suspicious activities such as corrupt operations of any sort....that ought to include the governor as well....but when the governor is appointed by the king of corruption...what does that tell you about the appointee.....at least one ought to be suspect of any actions taken between the two.....
favoritism is not a healthy thing either, especially when the action being taken may be highly suspect....but when your boss is telling you to do something.....especially when he is a type A personality....you tend to simply ask how high should I jump and how often....but that doesn't make your actions right.....so on a brighter note....who will be the new governor of the CBI.....Dr. S....or Dr. S.....who gets that?
Urgent in light of the deteriorating political situation .. Maliki Son "Hamoudi" Finnish citizenship and enjoy a second wife to ensure citizenship!
So the French would not grant Maliki's son a safe haven.....so the next best thing....marry someone from Finland and lay claim to their nationality as a result of the marriage....my question....who let the dog....I mean the snake out of the country....no matter though....sooner or later he will take a wrong step....he will be on a plane that lands at the wrong place and his freedom will be clipped short and he will join Daddio in a prison cell....
I am sure those Iraqi politicians who were putting pressure on their Finnish counterparts were all backers of Maliki...who will all likely be without a job next week or in the coming days at least.....follow the money here.....I am sure the Finnish government was offered a tidy sum to make this marriage happen.....but in PM Abadi's words...."where did you get that?"
Well I have to cut this portion of the news summaries short as I have an appointment I must get to.....promise to come back later and write more.....as there is definitely more to be covered on this day....enjoy the day the Lord has given us. Aloha Randy
