PM Abadi has other reforms up his sleeve and it would not surprise me to see a cut in benefits for those who were taken out of government....maybe even dropping all benefits.....how about them apples....some dogs just don't know when to shut up.
The issuance of the list of popular right-Maliki in preparation for trial
So here it starts.....a list of 34 charges brought against none other than Maliki.....for atrocities that were believed to have been done against Iraq and its people....all led in one way or another by Maliki....so what do you say about this list Iran.....still want to sing his praises....bring it on....because all the praise in the world you may find will be forever trumped by what the courts decide on his future.....oh and we aren't scared by your threats either.
Cabinet Secretariat develop a plan for the eradication of corruption in state institutions
PM Abadi intends to ferret out corruption from all levels of government.....beware of the "foofoo" dust that Abadi will be sprinkling upon your hands and then using a blacklight to see if you have guilt or not with regard to corruption.....will you glow in the dark as your hands begin to sweat or will you survive the litmus test.....
He has a plan that involves investment support from the religious authorities as well as the people to bring about full disclosure of corruption activities.....wait for it later this week....how do I know that....I read ahead of course.....
Abadi will bring forth a special committee, yet another group of "untouchables" who can be trusted, much as the Integrity Commission has been branded in the same positive fashion.....those committee members will be entrusted with justice in further investigations that will be brought before the judiciary....yes they too will be gleaned over for corruption....remember no one....NO ONE is above the law in this regard.
The central bank stopped dealing with Iranian banks
Hmmmm....I heard of someone claiming a certain translation of this memo.....guess they better check their interpreter......I tend to believe this version a bit more....focusing upon only two banks....both are Iranian....imagine that....CBI brings to a halt any dealings with them.....ceasing any trading of USD with these two Iranian banks.....they may continue to deal in IQD but will be drained of USD as the CBI suspends any and all such dealings with these banks.
Abadi Barzani threatens to end his political future in the event of dismissal of Hoshyar Zebari, the position of the Ministry of Finance
Ok, you have to be careful of which Barzani we are referencing here....this is the President Barzani of the Kurdistan, not the PM Barzani of the Kurdistan.....got that straight.....now he's trying to tell the world he is throwing a temper tantrum....if PM Abadi announces the sacking of Finance Minister Zebari he will denounce his own presence in the Kurd government.....
Barzani needs to brush up on his Constitutional government protocols it would seem....throwing around idle threats as he is trying to do is not going to get him anywhere but looking pretty lame in the end.....
PM Abadi is acting within his authority and has the backing of Parliament in doing so....by the book he works.....if Zebari has anything to worry about either from his current position or the position he held in Maliki's government as Foreign Minister......then he too needs to go.....NO ONE is above the LAW....remember that.
Misdemeanor integrity announce the resolution of the issue of 13 funds of banks laundering in a civil way to resolve
The Integrity Commission has been working on charges that involve thirteen cases of money laundering within banks, that involves 20 individuals.....this also involves what is believed to have been a fictitious bank account where the money was supposed to have gone....but this account doesn't exist....so it must have been funneled out of the country and into some guilty party's pockets....why does the name Maliki keep popping into my mind....the Integrity Commission is hot on the trail of this caper and looks to apprehend those who were privy and party to the wrong-doing.
Iraq's al-Maliki and a curse
Do not be quick to condemn PM Abadi for any inaction on the part of locking up Maliki......this IMO......is all orchestrated.....he will be brought to justice in time.....he cannot run and hide forever.....someone somewhere will cough him up and the trial will begin....justice will be served....
I'm guessing that at some point in time if he stays at large even in Iraq or Syria or wherever, there will be a bounty put on his head and bounty hunters will eventually run him to ground....justice will be served....he will not win. Why he was allowed to slither into Iran.....well it may very well be a political thing at this point....
But whatever the reason it is beyond our control.....and does not deserve our time or energy wasted on anger.....watch what transpires....sometimes one thing or another has to happen to bring about another thing.....this could be the case here.
Maliki on the way to trial downloaded responsibility for the fall of Mosul

Parliament discusses the «money laundering» today and economists contend smuggling $ 138 billion since 2003
$138 billion dollars worth of money laundering since 2003.....I contend this is just a tip of the iceberg that will be found associated with dirty money leaving Iraq....with good revenues turned bad that never found its way into the hands of the Iraqi citizens....meanwhile we believe the Anti-Money Laundering Law will get its first reading today.....but won't be voted upon until near October....draw it out to the deadline for that black list.....why be any different than in the past.

Experts eyes .. Iraqi government deposits between government and private banks
Some money that the government has had returned is being deposited into private banks within Iraq.....is this a safe thing to do....a safe choice on their part......if it is deposited in state banks it is immune from being used in a manner not prescribed by the government....but that immunity from a private bank standpoint raises some questions.....
we all know that private banks have suffered liquidity issues and if they are now trusted with large sums of government deposits will they be tempted to make use of those deposits in an illegal way.....temptation is a root of evil....is this an attempt to determine the trustworthiness of these banks.....or is this an act of craziness by the government.....steady those hands which handle that money......remember PM Abadi's words......"where did you get that".......and.....NO ONE is above the law.....don't get caught with your hand in the till.
Jubouri respond to Maliki's coalition threats will not delete any name from Mosul report and we will hold those involved

Urgent Medhat al-Mahmoud submit an application retirement and refer it to the Supreme Judicial refuses
The Federal Judiciary Chairman has submitted his request for retirement....he is the one that so many are screaming has been guilty of corruption issues......the Supreme Judicial Council though has rejected his request.....I'm guessing they may prefer to press charges rather than let him just melt away into retirement....after all retirement might get him a fat salary to live off of but charges that are proven will eliminate any such retirement payments.

It would appear the Parliament voted on the Labor Law today and it passed with a majority voting in favor of it.....knock me down.....one major draft has become a law.

Mutlaq: Cancel the six positions of Representatives does not mean anything because we Snstlm 80% of our salaries and we sat in our homes
Your mouthiness might be the end of your ride on easy street buster.....don't forget that PM Abadi has more reforms on the way....just as he has more power today to decide how things are to be going forward and could bring an end to any or all of your golden parachute benefits....be careful of how you speak and who might hear it....austere times call for drastic measures.
Jubouri rejects Maliki exception of trial
Speaker Jubouri uses a great many words here to simply say....."NO ONE is above the law".........and also confirms his intentions of publishing the list of names on the report so the citizens of Iraq can see first hand who has been charged and for what crimes.
Simplify the granting of loans for job seekers measures
Job seekers in Iraq may find it easier to obtain loans that may help them in finding jobs.....the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs is spearheading this opportunity to ease up on the constraints for job hunters to get loans.....this will also reduce time to be approved for such loans as well.
Zamili: members of the fall of Mosul belonging to the state law .. tried to falsify the facts and delete Maliki's name from the list of the accused!
So if some members of the State of Law coalition has tried to falsify the Mosul report.....I say add their names to the list of those guilty of wrong-doing associated with the report.....lump them in with Maliki and let the courts decide their fate....in other countries this is known as obstruction of justice and is a crime as well.
