Wow we woke up this morning to see a photo of Maliki sitting to the right of PM Abadi....did that surprise you.....really....we've been taught that we keep our friends close....but our enemies closer....so why be surprised....
This was a meeting for playing "Red Rover Red Rover".....remember that game.....Maliki wanted to come over to the team that is leading Iraq....but he was rebuffed when he ran to them....they held fast and he was told no....not now....you had your chance.....so did his thugs that attended the meeting as well.....strong news from the clerics today in support of reforms and of Abadi.

This meeting spoke to the issues associated with the terrorist threats that Iraq faces....it spoke to the concerns of the judiciary and how they need to be cleansed along with all other levels of government....
Why were eyes focused on Maliki during that time.....Jaafari stressed that his office is in complete support of the reforms being put forward by PM Abadi and his government....keeping any who do not agree with the reforms at bay with an iron fist.....how the camel ate the cabbage was explained on this night in very plain terms.

According to one MP from the Economic and Investment Committee within Parliament the taxes and tariffs need another year to be worked on until they are again brought to light.....this also comes from the head of the Customs group responsible for implementation.....they still face issues with border crossings and how to equitably implement the new laws.

Here comes another not so subliminal message from the Iraqi clerics to PM Abadi....we need to clean up the judiciary to ensure when those accused of corruption are brought to trial there is no question as to the honesty and integrity of the judges hearing the cases.....we need to push for more speed with the reforms that are being laid before the Iraqi people.....make good decisions, make them quick, and move forward.

The Iraqi religious leadership continues to speak out in favor of the reforms being laid out by PM Abadi, staying keenly focused on the removal of corruption from the government and other institutional offices and groups.....calling for speed to ferret out those who are believed guilty and who need to be held accountable for corrupt actions taken over the past years in Iraq.....they must follow legal steps and stay within the letter of the law as they push these reforms forward.

The Iraqi cleric, al-Sistani, continues to show support of PM Abadi and the reforms he puts forward to bring Iraq out of the dark dungeon associated with corruption.....he sees the important need to focus on assurances that the judiciary is cleansed of corruption so that the prosecution of those who are brought to court is never questioned.....he identifies the need for speed in the reform process but also recognizes that some efforts will require time to bring to fruition....he says the reform effort must work or Iraq will witness a much more evil time ahead.

Iraq's strength he says lies within their unity as a country a unity that is built upon integrity and a bonding between previously warring entities that are currently working together to push DAASH out of the country....that are working together today in support of reforms being proposed and implemented by PM Abadi and his government....he asks that US leadership not promote separation but instead stand with Iraq for unity because Iraq is not a lost cause.
