Bits and Pieces in Dinarland Early Friday Evening

TNT:

Iko Ward
: France plunged 5.18% this morning

luvwulfs
:Market Analyst " Markets don't just plunge on a Friday in August for no apparent reason" Are they prepping????

KMAN:  Dow suffers biggest weekly point drop since week ending Oct. 10, 2008

KMAN Whoa!!! Dow down over 530 points. I guess the Chinese are making a statement.

Nurseginger:
FYI~the markets are in correction mode~it was bound to happen~the bubble had to burst sometime....

Briona:  Fox Business said the Central Banks around the world are going to have to get together and cooperate to get things under control. I know one way to get things under control---RV now!
....
Nurseginger: OH MY GOODNESS~vix has hit 47....shake rattle and roll:)

VIX=The idea of a volatility index, and financial instruments

VIX is a trademarked ticker symbol for the CBOE Volatility Index, a popular measure of the implied volatility of S&P 500 index options.

It was stated earlier to on one of the financial channels that once the VIX hit 40 (which it has not been since the 80's) look for a major change in the markets.

JumpinJackFlash:  and it is at 47 now...is that right?

NurseGinger: Correct

JumpinJackFlash:  so I wonder what it take to lose another 7 points?

NurseGinger:  Can you say “manipulation”

JumpinJackFlash:  Nurse...hope it is being manipulated for a good purpose

NurseGinger:
It was at 27 and it surged to 40 then it went to 47 and when the markets closed it was back at 27…. Now try and figure that one out...lol

JumpinJAckFlash:  Nurse it sounds to me that the manipulation came in at 47 and someone got their hand slapped and it went back to the reality of 27 just a thought.

9Ball:  The DOW is down 530.94 today. Is this a "Correction" or a "Crash" ??

Ivanatulafitov:   seems like a good place to sneak in a GCR eh

Peaches1:
the market is driven by a relatively small group of powerful folks. They are anything BUT ignorant. They have make a bloody fortune since March of 2009 on very little more than spit and Bernanke "assett inflation"

A fancy term for QE's effects on the stock market. They knew exactly what they were doing.

No thanks to the Fed, the zero interest rate policy for the past eight years has driven millions of investors away from fixed investments to equities seeking income. Well, the higher dividend paying stocks got hit today as well.

Rrrr:  peachy... i'm watching"after the Bell"... They say the most of the people who have been in this a while, got out... It is the newbies that mostly got slammed

Red:
To put everything into perspective we in this chat room are like ants crawling on a tarmac shouting instructions to the control tower and demanding that the airplane move when we say move and take off when we say take off lol

Dennis Gartman, a well respected stock trader, 40 years in the business, believes the crude oil price of $40 is either at the bottom or near. He went LONG ON CRUDE OIL TODAY.

Crude oil closed today at the lowest price since March, 2009

CNBC - Panelist says watch the currencies Sunday evening; he believes the dollar will go higher

I doubt if these guys (CNBC), except for one really know what is happening and what we know and where it should wind up going. IMO

Dinar Updates:

tman23  ...I am in a positive frame of mind in regards to the reform of the IQD...

How they arrive at a rate is unknown...But what is known is that they are on a -fast track- to get reforms in place.
KTFA:

Iggy:  NEVER LOSE HOPE

If you can find beauty in the colors of a small flower, then you still have hope…

If you can find pleasure in the movement of a butterfly, then you still have hope…

If the smile of a child can still warm your heart, then you still have hope…

If you can see the good in other people, then you still have hope…

If the rain breaking on a roof top can still lull you to sleep, then you still have hope…

If the sight of a rainbow still makes you stop and stare in wonder, then you still have hope…

If the soft fur of a favored pet still feels pleasant under your fingertips, then you still have hope…

If you still offer your hand in friendship to others that have touched your life, then you still have hope…

If receiving an unexpected card or letter still brings
a pleasant surprise, then you still have hope…

If you still watch love stories or want the endings to be happy, then you still have hope…

If you can look to the past and smile, then you still have hope….

If, when faced with the bad, when told everything is futile, you can still look up and end the conversation with the phrase…
“yeah….BUT..” Then you still have hope…

Hope is such a marvelous thing. It bends, it twists, it sometimes hides, but rarely does it break… It sustains us when nothing else can…
It gives us reason to continue and courage to move ahead, when we tell ourselves we’d rather give in…

Hope puts a smile on our face when the heart cannot manage… Hope puts our feet on the path when our eyes cannot see it…
Hope moves us to act when our souls are confused of the direction….

Hope is a wonderful thing, something to be cherished and nurtured, and something that will refresh us in return…
And it can be found in each of us, and it can bring light into the darkest of places…

Never Lose Hope
