Mnt Goat ...Iraq is in fact working hard on trying to reconcile the issues within the National Guard law. I firmly feel they will work out any issues before Eid and we will see the conclusion of this law maybe this week or next. It is looking very good. Remember it can’t go on forever.
Their latest target is Oct 1st for National Guard law, Judicial Reforms, Amnesty, and Investment laws.
Just Monday 9/21 we heard that Fuad Masum has announced “we finished the National reconciliation project & will present after the feast!”.
This means after Eid around October 4th timeframe.
Hurray! This confirms the target of very early Oct I have been talking about.

It is expected to cast 39 speaking words at the summit, to be a priority for all the words from the Iraqi Prime Minister and the President of Nigeria and President of the Norwegian minister who will be speaking after President Obama and the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: US official confirmed that the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Nigerian President Mohammed Bukhari will be the first speaker at the summit by the United Nations to be held on September 29 to discuss the issue of terrorism.
The official said that the United States called 104 countries and about 100 regional organizations and civil society representatives to this summit, which US President Barack Obama on the sidelines of the meetings will be chaired by United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The official, who did not give his name, according to local media and pursued "obelisk" that this summit aims to "revitalize" the international coalition led by Washington against the militants in Syria and Iraq, and to include a wider range of countries and civil society actors list.
It is expected to cast 39 speaking words at the summit, to be a priority for all the words from the Iraqi Prime Minister and the President of Nigeria and President of the Norwegian minister who will be speaking after President Obama and the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon.
In the meantime, Iran is the most prominent absentee from the summit despite the essential role they play in the fight against terrorism in neighboring Iraq. Link

The beginning of a government source reported that "the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi will travel to the United States after the Eid al-Adha", as he emphasized, "The visit aims to discuss the liberalization of Anbar province, operations and the city of Mosul from the control of the organization Daash terrorist and ask for more support and advanced weapons."
The source said, "The Abadi will travel to the United States after the Eid al-Adha, the head of a high-level delegation made up of ministerial and military cabin," noting that "the visit will discuss a number of issues of concern to the two countries as well as coordination and cooperation in the military and security fields."
The source added that "the visit is also aimed at providing support and arming of Iraqi forces in the fight against al-Daash terrorist as well as discuss the liberalization of Anbar province and the city of Mosul operations," explaining that "the visit will see the request Abadi, drones and attack helicopters Apache, ammunition and other weapons to fight the war of the streets as well as the reconstruction of the cities affected by the military operations and to facilitate the return of people to their home areas. "
The "Abadi visited Washington, on the fourteenth of April, at the head of a government delegation including the ministers of defense and finance, oil and Higher Education and the National Security Advisor, at the invitation of US President Barack Obama to discuss and coordinate the cooperation between Iraq and the United States, in the war on terrorism and developments security and political situation in Iraq and the region.
