He said committee member Najiba Najib's (IMN) that "most of the laws that are working on the House of Representatives during its current projects and the laws of economic nature and investment," pointing out that "the Commission asked the government to send legal central bank and government banks for the purpose of amended and its approval."
She pointed out that "banks in Iraq will work in accordance with the package of laws in the coming period to improve its performance and its work and promote the economic reality of the country."
The Council of Ministers approved days draft anti-money laundering and terrorism financing law before, submitted by the Central Bank of Iraq, said the economic advisor to the Prime Minister the appearance of Mohammed Saleh,
said that there is a law in force until approved by the Coalition Provisional Authority in the era of the civil governor Paul Bremer, but lacks the financial developments, the world has seen in the field of combating money laundering crimes.
