Thanks My Ladies for letting us share from your private Chatroom

MY LADIES:  Iran, EU hold trade conference

"We are looking for a two-way trade as well as cooperation in development, design and engineering. We are no longer interested in a unidirectional importation of goods and machinery from Europe,” he told the conference.

After the finalization of nuclear talks, European leaders and representatives of major industries are in a race to size up business opportunities in the energy-rich Iran.

MY LADIES: MANY TRADE DEALS COMING IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS
....
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius will also visit Tehran on July 29 with the aim to revive relations. France's main business lobby group, the Medef, is sending a delegation of about 80 firms to Iran at the end of September.

Meanwhile, Italian Economic Development Minister Federica Guidi will head a team of 300 traders on a two-day visit to Iran on August 4.

Switzerland's Deputy Foreign Minister Yves Rossier arrived in Iran on Tuesday and held discussions with several Iranian officials.

JP:   Why trade with someone not international ... Yet. (mm)

MY LADIES:   IRAQ SHOULD FOLLOW THIS MODEL WITH THEIR PRIVATE SECTOR.

IRAN IS MOVING FAR AHEAD IN THEIR PRIVATE SECTOR AND THIS MAKES THEM APPEALING TO INVESTORS. THIS IS A GOOD READ;

Tehran keen on removing obstacles in way of foreign trade: Iran industry minister

http://ift.tt/1Ir20dM

Asked about Iran’s privatization plans, the minister said according to the law passed by parliament, Iranian companies can be fully privatized. “The only exception would be important industries in which the government can retain a 20 percent share,” he said.

My LADIES:  THINGS MUST BE GETTING SAFER IN IRAQ, HERE COMES THE GAS AND NEXT LEG IN THE SILK ROAD FOR IRAQ

Iran set for gas exports to Iraq

http://ift.tt/1D1gWgj

“Iran will sit for talks with Iraq within the next few days over the gas export project,” Gharibi added

The project has been long in the offing but had been delayed over what officials in Tehran have cited as security concerns resulting from the war of insurgency that the ISIL terrorists have waged in Iraq.

MB:  I just watched the video from the conference.  They hope to connect to SWIFT in about three months.  Would they remove the zeros from the value of their currency before that, or wait and do it all about the same time?

MY LADIES:  OH NO NO NO, THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING WITH THEIR CURRENCY FOR SEVERAL SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER CONNECTING TO SWIFT.

**********

Bandito Rox:  Mary I posted an article a couple of weeks ago that there connected to swift it was a deal behind closed doors.. And you even comment on it.

MB:  I think Iran just joined SWIFT, but it's not being utilized yet.

JP:  It's not activated yet according to ML.

MB:  Activated!  That's the word I was looking for, LOL

MB:  Where is Iraq's position with SWIFT?

AW:  Please correct me if I am wrong. Iraq has been back on the SWIFT system for a couple of years because I know of investors who wire funds every month into Iraqi banks.

These wires are processed through the SWIFT system.

MY LADIES:  RIGHT THE ARE CONNECTED BUT IT'S NOT TURNED ON...IF IT WERE TURNED ON THE RIYAL WOULD BE TRADING ON FOREX

MY LADIES: NOW IRAQ IS SETTLING IN THE DOLLAR STILL REMEMBER...NOT THE GOVERNMENT BUT THE PRIVATE SECTOR AND CONTRACTORS ARE PAID IN THE DOLLAR

Bandito Rox:  Iran Claims Sanctions Already Lifting - Starting with SWIFT

First Publish: 7/13/2015, 5:56 PM

State-owned Iranian news source PressTV has reported that the international sanctions against the Islamic Republic are already beginning to be lifted.

According to the report, Tehran's Day Bank held an official ceremony to mark its reentry into the SWIFT global banking system. SWIFT is the secure network that nearly every bank in the world uses to transfer money internationally.

The European Council instructed SWIFT to drop its service to Iran in 2012. Without it, many Iranians could not send money abroad or receive from foreign relatives.

Somehow, this ceremony was not picked up by Western news outlets, though PressTV published its report on Saturday.

If true, it suggests that Iran is already being rewarded with eased sanctions, despite the fact that the nuclear agreement is not yet finalized.

MY LADIES:  RIGHT BANDITO AND HERE IS THE ORIGINAL ARTICLE http://ift.tt/1HniUGk

MY LADIES: HOWEVER I THINK IRAN IS TRYING TO SELL TO THEIR PEOPLE THAT THE SANCTIONS WILL BE LIFTED IN THE HERE AND NOW.

BUT REALITY IS LOOKING LIKE IT MAY BE A STEP BY STEP PROCESS.

WITH REGARD TO SWIFT THEY HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED BACK BUT I JUST DO NOT THINK THEY ARE ACTIVATED.

WELL ACTUALLY WE KNOW THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ACTIVATED OR THE RIYAL WOULD BE TRADING.

BaNDiTo_RoX: ML Iraq in on SWIFT but aren't trading, I'm missing something or maybe I skipped class that day.

MY LADIES:  MAYBE YOU DID BANDITO, IS THE RIYAL TRADING ON FOREX???

NO. NO IT’S NOT. WITH SWIFT IT SEEMS TO ME AS I READ ALL THESE DIFFERENT ARTICLES THAT BANKS ARE JOINING SWIFT BANK BY BANK.

THEY ARE READY WITH ALL THE PROPER INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES AND COMPLIANCES. THEY HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AND UPON THE SANCTIONS LIFTED THEY WILL BE TURNED ON

MY LADIES:  HERE LET’S LOOK AT THIS AGAIN FOR A MIN I THINK WHAT WE ARE SEEING IS A BANK BY BANK JOINING OF SWIFT IN IRAN. HERE LET’S READ THIS

This was announced at an official ceremony held at Day Bank headquarters in Tehran. THIS IS ONE BANK IN IRAN

Ahmad Shafizadeh, the governor of the bank, said at the ceremony that joining SWIFT in face of sanctions that prohibit financial transactions with Iran has been the result of a lengthy campaign.

In early 2012, SWIFT said it had been instructed by the European Council to discontinue its communications services to Iranian financial institutions that are subject to European sanctions. Accordingly, it blocked 30 Iranian banks from using its service thus literally cutting off Iran from the global banking system.

MY LADIES: HERE THERE USED TO BE 30 BANKS CONNECTED

Iran’s media reported earlier in April that SWIFT has already held a series of “official and unofficial meetings” with Iran’s  private banks  over the resumption of its services to the country.

MY LADIES: SEE SWIFT IS IN MEETING WITH SEVERAL BANKS

Reports added that this came in light of a gradual thaw in Iran’s banking transactions with the world introduced by developments in the country’s nuclear case.

MY LADIES:  HERE A GRADUAL THAW IN THE BANKING TRANSACTIONS

IQD NOVA:  I HAVE ALWAYS SAID IT WILL BE A STEP BY STEP PROCESS WITH IRAN.

WE JUST DONT KNOW WHEN STEP ONE WILL START... I BELIEVE WE WILL SEE THERE BANKING SYSTEM TURN ON FIRST. IS THAT TODAY OR IN 60 DAYS DONT KNOW. ALL WE CAN DO IS WATCH.

AS FOR IRAQ.... BEFORE OR AFTER IRAN …DONT KNOW… BUT BOTH NEED EACH OTHER …SO BOTH WILL BE TURNED ON.
MB:  http://ift.tt/1VET5cj

Under the nuclear deal, sanctions that have stifled Iran's economy are to be lifted when the International Atomic Energy Agency verifies that Iran is honouring its side of the bargain.

Nematzadeh said Iran expected verification in under three months, and that it believed it could rejoin the SWIFT global electronic payments system - a key step to enable inflows of foreign money - three months after sanctions were repealed.

MY LADIES:  RIGHT MB THANK YOU, SO AS WE GO ALONG I THINK WE ARE SEEING A STEP BY STEP LIFTING.

WE SAID OVER AND OVER AGAIN ALL THE SANCTIONS DO NOT NEED TO BE LIFTED IN ORDER FOR TEHRAN TO TRADE,

ALL THEY NEED IS THEIR CURRENCY TURNED ON.

AW:  So, as Mary and NOVA have stated..........does Iraq go first?....or does Iran?........or do they move in concert? We wait to see.
