Foreign Ministry announced on Sunday, the opening of the Bureau of Consular Services in Basra, confirmed that he will be the future opening of other offices of the ministry in one of the Central Euphrates provinces and one of the provinces of the Kurdistan region.

The statement added that "the ministry's office in the city of Basra, will provide all consular services and the completion of all ratifications transactions and other consular transactions for the residents of the cities of southern Iraq (Basra, Maysan, Dhi Qar and Muthanna)," he said, adding that the ministry "managed and guided directly by the Minister of removing all obstacles that stand in front of the opening of this office, of creating the building to it, or provide consular staff of veteran cadres within the ministry, in addition to overcome the problems of financial allocations for the opening because of the austerity experienced by the country. "
Foreign statement continued that "the future will be the opening of other offices of the ministry in one of the Central Euphrates provinces and one of the provinces of the Kurdistan region."
The local government in Basra announced that, in the (June 14, 2016), to open an office of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the province, and are expected to contribute to facilitate official procedures and transactions related to foreigners residing in the province, and the people of the province who live outside the country.

About a year and a half ago they were telling us now many new lower denoms they would come out with. Memory is fuzzy now about it.
I can't recall how many they said their would be. But a 500, 200/100, 50, 25, 10, 5, 1 seem logical...then...FIL$!! No one in Iraq is using any of these at 1180/1182/1166/1170 if you get my drift.
