Dinar Updates Tuesday AM Chat 7-19-16  Part 3 of 3

tman23 says():The source disclosed certain paragraphs of the agreement signed between the US Department of Defense and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region’s Peshmerga ministry, including establishment of 5 US military bases in the region.

“One of the bases will be set up in Atroush region, two in Harir region and two large bases in Erbil and Duhok,” the source, who called for anonymity, told Iraq’s al-Ma’loumah news agency........

 “Based on the MoU, the Americans should pay the salaries of Peshmerga forces and train and equip them for 10 years,” he added.......

His remarks came after a military MOU was signed on Tuesday between the US Department of Defense and the Peshmerga Ministry at the government of Kurdistan to support the Kurdish forces in fighting the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq........

NOW HERE YA GO !!!!!!! ....... “According to the Iraqi constitution, no agreement can be made with any state unless with the approval of the council of representatives.

The military protocol between the US and the KRG is unconstitutional,” Samira Jaffar, an MP from the Shiite State of Law coalition told Sotaliraq on July 14..

SO WONDER WHY MALIKI THE IRANIAN IS MEETING WITH GORRAN AND PUK, 2 GROUPS WHO HAVE A DEEP RELATIONSHIP WITH IRANS REGIME........

AND THEN WE HAVE A RE-DO GOING ON THIS WEEK OVER THE IRAQ CONSTITUTION INCLUDING POWER SHARING AND FINANCIAL SHARING...... QUITE INTERESTING TO SAY THE LEAST......READING BETWEEN THE LINES THERE IS A LOT BEING SAID..
~~~
Baxter says():Tman.... so Maliki is at it again eh...
jtank says():tman23 are they splitting the country?
Baxter says():that could be more trouble.. oh boy..
jtank says():I think Iran is backing Maliki and Sadre
tman23 says to jtank():One certainly can come to that conclusion......
jtank says():sure looks that way---thx Tman
jtank says():will not be go for redenomination ?
jtank says():Kurds got it goin- more oil and water
tman23 says to jtank():Abadi held off appointing technocrats.......all of a sudden it is just not appropriate timing because of "certain circumstances"........
jtank says():iyo?
jtank says():circumstances?
Baxter says():what happened to all of the federal charges against Maliki...
wmawhite says():I need some help in here........can anybody tell me what PM Abadi's reforms within his cabinet (GOI) has to do with our investment?
Baxter says():must be tied in somehow...we still here...
tman23 says to jtank():Kurds are split right now......PUK and Gorran joined ranks.......But there are members of the PUK that do not agree with PUK leadership decisions.......
Barzani made a deal with the US and that deal circumvented Baghdad......5 bases in the Kurd region....... Now you know why Sadr is targeting US soilders......... This very well could be the start of the split.......
rcookie says to wmawhite():LOL.....:D
wmawhite says to Baxter():Well, it rained yesterday at my house too...........so, that must have something to do with because we are still here.
Babe says():is the new phone call up to be listened to?
rcookie says to wmawhite():EARNING YOUR WINGS CLARENCE.....I HEARD THE BELLS...
1bobby says():About the reforms....wasn't it to rid corruption and promote the private sector as well as protect the investor? I'm curious as well. Are there a list of the reforms? I forgot all that it entailed
wmawhite says to rcookie():wings,.wings,.......we don't need no stinking wings!!!!
rcookie says to 1bobby():HEY THERE BOBBY...WHAT REFORMS ARE YOU SPEAKING...
Babe says():I was able to see newstime...which was AWESOME...but had an emergency and wasn't able to listen to the live call...was hoping I could catch the recording
wmawhite says to rcookie():That WB articles is...........wow,......the flood gates are opening!!!
1bobby says():Well that's my issue lol I have yet to see the list
wmawhite says to 1bobby():list.....what list?
1bobby says():of the so called reforms. I'm prolly backing mysel;f into a corner here, but that was my understanding of the reforms. Mostly to end corruption and promote the private sector
popeye7 says():There are alot of things going on over there we are not privy to of course... Problems are created by those who also have the solution... Which is why these people created the problem to begin with... Control through chaos... But again the IMF, UN, World Bank are satisfied with Iraq's progress, so that is a positive for us as it concerns the investment we have... Those who control the money supply have the power folks...
rcookie says():Tue, 19 Jul 2016 14:53:07 Interior looking timing of the opening of the national card circles in Baghdad and the provinces and region
It examined the Interior Ministry timing of the opening of the national card circles in Baghdad and other governorates and the Kurdistan region.
wmawhite says to 1bobby():List or no list...............I just wanting to know what does the PM's cabinet reforms have to do directly with our investment, or the value of the IQD?
1bobby says():I agree, I would like to know as well. If it's not the reforms, what's causing the delay of open investment of Iraq's private sector?
rcookie says():AND IT IS PERFECTLY CLEAR AND TRANSPARENT AS TO WHY THE CABINET RESHUFFLE WAS OBSTRUCTED....
rcookie says():BOBBY....HERE YOU GO...WE TALKED ABOUT LAST NIGHT ON CALL...
rcookie says():INVESTMENT AUTHORITY MEMBER ZUMILI ASSERTS FURTHER WORK TO ADDRESS & REMOVE OBSTACLES FROM 2ND AMENDMENT OF INVESTMENT LAW NO. 13 (2006) AMENDED OCTOBER 2015 NEEDED IN PROCESS INVOLVING DELIVERY OF LAND TO INVESTORS WITHIN 15 DAYS...
rcookie says():THERE ARE OTHER FINANCIAL & ECONOMIC LAWS CUED FOR VOTE THAT IMPACT FOREIGN INVESTMENT INCLUDING CBI LAW..BANKING LAW..COMPANIES LAW..CHAMBER OF COMMERCE LAW...PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LAW...
AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NATIONAL DEPOIST INSURANCE COMPANY AND SCHEME AS WELL AS IDMS & PIM INTEGRATION AND ICAAP IMPLEMENTATION THAT WE SPOKE ABOUT IN YESTERDAYS NEWSTIME...
1bobby says():OK cool. So we're waiting on adjustments to certain laws that affect investment. But isn't this one big puzzle that corruption has to be stabilized to enhance these investments and protect the investor.
I try and read as much as I can and I still see a whacky GOI and amongst the Provinces. I do appreciate reading, listening and talking to you guy's. Makes me more comfy in this investment for sure. So thank you
wmawhite says to 1bobby():I have to disagree with you..........
wmawhite says to 1bobby():You ask good questions................but,
rcookie says():CORRUPTION IS BEING STABILIZED ON A DAILY BASIS WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF EVERY WORLD AGENCY IMAGINABLE....UST...UN...WB...IMF AND THEIR OWN INVESTIGATIVE AGENCIES
1bobby says():No doubt. Corruption is being dealt with on a daily basis. But now we know how deep and rampant it really is. Wouldn't it behove the GOI to attack that issue just as much as they attack ISIS?
wmawhite says to 1bobby():what about the statement from Citibank?
rcookie says():NOT ANYWHERE NEAR THERE YET...BUT EVEN TODAY THE WB ARTICLE ADDRESSES IRAQS IMPROVEMENT WITH CORRUPTION ADDRESSMENT AND "EASE OF DOING BUSINESS" GLOBAL RANKINKS...
1bobby says():The Commission of Integrity has done tremendous work as of late
1bobby says():Yep the articles are amazing!
1bobby says():Yes sir I agree. I do try and look at the big picture. I'm not saying I'm focusing on the single issue of corruption, but to me outside investors will not pay double to get a foot into the Iraq private sector.
