Iran minister, Singapore company in talks on foreign investment
Kuala Lumpur, May 19, IRNA – Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei who is visiting Singapore has discussed ways of absorbing foreign investment with top officials of a Singapore-based asset management company.
During the meeting with Rabiei on Wednesday, officials of Oclaner Asset Management Ltd. said that their company is able to absorb three billion dollars of investment money for Iran projects.
Oclaner managers expressed readiness to cooperate with Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare for financing the ministry’s affiliated companies and projects.
Rabiei leading a delegation of top commercial managers is now touring the city-state country in South-East Asia.
The Iranian delegation on Wednesday visited a big port in Singapore and got acquainted with its activities.
The visit by the Iranian official is taking place upon invitation by the head of Singapore port.

Kuala Lumpur, May 19, IRNA – Iranian Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiei who is visiting Singapore has discussed ways of absorbing foreign investment with top officials of a Singapore-based asset management company.
During the meeting with Rabiei on Wednesday, officials of Oclaner Asset Management Ltd. said that their company is able to absorb three billion dollars of investment money for Iran projects.
Oclaner managers expressed readiness to cooperate with Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare for financing the ministry’s affiliated companies and projects.

SAIPA ready to cooperate with Asian, European, American carmakers
Manager of SAIPA, an Iranian automaker said that regarding BMW Brillianc's previous cooperation, SAIPA is ready to have extensive cooperation with this company.
Speaking on the sidelines of signing an MoU between SAIPA and BMW Brillianc, Mahdi Jamali expressed hope in increasing production line in Iran from 30% to 70%.
After providing required grounds for exports, it would have 30% growth soon.
Referring to changes in global business market, he added that it is necessary to boost cooperation in pricing, sales and effective advertisements.
In addition to SAIPA, another Iranian automaker Pars Khodro is also active in producing Brillianc products.
The MoU between SAIPA and Brillianc was signed on Tuesday night in the presence of SAIPA Chief Executive Officer and Head of BMW Brillianc presiding board and some Iranian high-ranking officials.
BMW Brillianc produced over 500,000 cars in 2014 and ranked 28th in the world.

During South African President's Iran visit there were also talks on resumption of oil exports to South Africa to the level of 68,000 bpd by first three quarters of Iranian calendar year of 1395 for 517 million dollars.
Presence of the South African president along with his four ministers and 100 private sector envoys in Iran lead to signing of agreements, major portion of which calls for expansion of mutual cooperation in energy.
