chattels: Thank you for commenting. I value all opinions from reasoning persons. We shall see. I am not certain of the date(s) of any extension of the Parliamentary session. Clearly Article 58 of the Iraqi Constitution limits such extensions to thirty days and for " limited " purposes.
If you read up in this thread there is one article on the subject that seems to say that Parliament was to recess for 60 days on May 1 which would arguably make the extension through the end of May. Again, as I have become fond of saying, " Nothing is certain in Iraq. "

The destruction of Daesh targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the group's ability to project terror and conduct operations.

“The bombardment has made it impossible for the people to reach the graveyard, forcing them to bury the dead in the garden,” Jumayli added. Iraqi officials have insisted that they would maintain a safe corridor for civilians to flee the city but the UN High Commissioner for Refugees reported Friday that there has been “an increasing number of executions” of men and boys in the city who refuse to fight for ISIS.
Those who do flee, “have told us harrowing tales of their escape, travelling on foot for hours at night, moving across fields and hiding in disused irrigation pipes,” said Leila Jane Nassif, UNHCR’s Assistant Representative in Iraq, in a statement. Nassif said that they had heard reports of civilians caught fleeing being executed, whipped, or had limbs amputated by the terrorist group.

“On Saturday at 14:30, five ISIS bombers launched an attack on Peshmerga on the Gwer front. Two of them were killed by Peshmerga and one detonated himself, which led to the wounding of one Peshmerga fighter,” said Sirwan Barzani, commander of the Gwer front. “The Peshmerga engineers team are working on defusing the bombs of the suicide bombers,” Barzani added.
