When I heard that Sadr FINALLY made good on his many threats to have his followers enter the Green Zone, it was because he saw that the new Technocrats were about to be seated and with talk of cancelling "proxy" appointments (aka Alaq) he saw the writing on the wall that maybe Iraq would finally enter the International Markets and an increase in their currency.
SO, right be fore that happens, he figured I will send my followers into the Green Zone. will tell them not to be violent just enter so when the changes occur, he can be viewed by his followers that it was because of him only strengthening his already strong Power Broker role in Iraq. Just my thoughts...

There is certainly alot going behind the scenes that we do not know about... But all of these entities have not visited, or instructed Iraq in order for this reform to fail... And it will not....

It is where Sadr began his studies to become a cleric while he was in exile.
