Inquiring minds want to know.
Last night someone did some research on such statements and found that previous recent presidents did these in October, before the November election. It does make one wonder why this one was done in May instead of October.
IcelandRox: We had a discussion about this on another board and it was discussed on the real truth call.
This is standard, other presidents have done this before the elections ... HOWEVER, the fascinating thing about this is the timing. If you do research from the year 2000 on (from what I can see) they normally put this out in October before the elections. So this is coming out 4-5 months earlier than the norm.
