08/12/2015 Chaired by Dr. Ibrahim Jaafari, head of the Iraqi National Alliance and Foreign Minister meeting the leadership of the National Alliance for the body in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Haider al-Abadi, the evening of Monday, 12/7/2015, Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari in office.
 
And discussed the political developments, the crucial issues facing Iraq at the present time, and most important: discuss the entry of Turkish troops into Iraqi territory, and the consequent violation of the sovereignty of the country, and a clear violation of good neighborly relations, and to discuss the National Security Council of Iraq in this regard decisions which gave the Turkish troops for 48 hours for immediate withdrawal from Iraqi territory.

Donnie: [Baghdad-where] the voice of the Baghdad Provincial Council, on Tuesday, to boycott Turkish goods and commodities, to condemn the entry of Turkish military forces to Iraq and violating the sovereignty of the country, last week.
 
Said council member Mohammed al-Rubaie, in a press statement that "the Council, voted to boycott trade cooperation with Turkey, in reaction to the entry of Turkish troops the northern Iraqi territory, without coordination with the center." Said al-Rubaie, that the resolution presented by a member of the provincial council, and it voted in its meeting on Tuesday,

Donnie: I think $40 a barrel oil will hurt Iraq more. Brent Crude Oil fell below $40 today.

disciple7: If they are there to truly help against Daash then why wouldn't Baghdad welcome the help?    disciple7: just doesn't add up..
 
disciple7: very possibly Iraq doesn't want Turkey's help because the Russians are helping.. and with the Russian / Turkish spat that's going on it could cause a conflict.. just thinking out loud.. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
