China Is Creating A Middle Class
December 24, 2015 Jc Collins

For those POM readers who are following, the recent announcement by China of a points system for its citizens will not come as a surprise.  This was covered back in March in the post The Redback Revolution.

In that post I stated the following:

China has developed an urbanization plan which is meant to attract “elite human talent” to the “elite cities” which will be structured under strict population controls and citizenship will be based on a point system.

Some decent coverage of this recent event can be found here.

Most fail to tie in the broader urbanization plan and the filling of the ghost cities with Chinese rural population between now and 2020. China is creating a middle class to act as consumers as they switch from a trade exporting model to a trade services model.   – JC

Reader Thoughts On “China Is Creating A Middle Class”

Orendareview    JC,  James Corbett et al have been covering China’s Sesame Credit system for some time now. Orwellian doesn’t quite capture it.

Although generally beyond the scope of POMs mission, an examination of the electronic infrastructure of this program would be worth an in-depth investigation.

It puts me mind of the crucial but generally ignored Ptech investigation. It would not be surprising to discover some curious funding sources or corporate relationships involved in the development of the infrastructure.

Orendareview     JC,  To your broader point about how analysts are doggedly focusing on the Orwellian aspects of the program instead of its larger purpose, perhaps we can look to China for a real-time demonstration of how Agenda 21 (i.e. multilateral transition) is being implemented in countries outside the U.S.

Silverboxervancity     Wow just think of the consumer goods opportunity there is rate now! My guess is China will be emulating the US of the 70’s to early 90’s. This will be simply amazing to watch.

Dripfood     I see giant empty batteries, waiting to be charged with human labour potential, through mortgages. Once up and running, some of the excess energy will be used to fuel the engines of consumerism. The interesting part though, is what will the bulk of this human labour be used for?

Anthony Graupp     Greetings JC,  In my humble opinion, this looks much like a ‘urban animal farm’,
where people are herded into their ‘urban stalls’ and milked
for their masters desires…    Take Care   Tony

Dane    Very interesting perspective JC.  I wonder what will happen when folks are in place and no longer care about their credit score which sounds more like a human score?

” It will hurt your score not only if you do these things, but if any of your friends do them,” warns the ACLU.”” How will this effect Facebook and such social media platforms where friends aren’t really friends? Will it help to deter online terrorist recruitment or communications?
Once again I find this taking us right back to the “The Century of the Self” series posted here on POM:

“THE CENTURY OF THE SELF – PART ONE”

I’ve not seen “The Prisoner” but “Divergent” also had hints of societal division and assignments/punishments for noncompliance.

I had to read the article linked in this post very carefully (nothing new, lol). Although there is some good information within it I find myself wondering if the author is Trumps campaign writer since “Paul Joseph Watson is the editor at large of Infowars.com and Prison Planet.com” and Trumps campaign has…at least to me…been following the conspiracy path.

As for this being implemented in the US…isn’t it already here? Has anyone been noticing the over representation or exploitation of gun crimes in the US? How about the movie recently released?

The continued play on our inner deficiencies. Maybe the US socialism project is nothing more than communism in our heads.

rudd van dyne     I guess that all these guys opinions except the very last “Expert” at the bottom of the page will lose points, besides having to buy another one in that “here” scenario.
