Tootsie: Just throwing a thought out into the universe ~~ I do wonder if the same applies to countries as opposed to companies?? I would presume the guidelines are , or would be, the same. ~~

Fit2beFit: Now call obama and have it changed to AAA

BOBBY: this is the reality of the investment

Fit2beFit: ‹@ajay214› good for us and bad for us has been going on FOR YEARS

Fit2beFit: ‹@ajay214› what, WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY.........I JUST GAVE YOU THE GO DIRECTLY TO JAIL CARD, DONT PASS GO

OOTW: "Low grade (speculative) B B B"

Tootsie: it appears so by some basic search, Good - http://ift.tt/LDvx10... ~~~ Iraq B- STABLE

BOBBY: Fit2befit....this is not gonna stop them from pumping the nonsense

Fit2beFit: ‹@BOBBY› PUMP, well thats an understatement......lol

OOTW: SO FAR TO ME, THIS SEEMS LIKE THE LOWEST RATING THEY CAN HAVE AND ALLOWS THEM TO JUST BARELY BE ABLE TO OFFER THEIR BONDS WITH ANY KIND STABILITY - ON THE EDGE OF UNSTABLE

Fit2beFit: If we are STILL IN HERE when there is a new President.......heads are gonna role

OOTW: 5 denotes A bank for which external support, although possible, cannot be relied upon. This may be due to a lack of propensity to provide support or to very weak financial ability to do so. This probability of support indicates a Long-term rating floor no higher than 'B-' and in many cases no floor at all.

OOTW: creditrisk.bankersalmanac...http://ift.tt/1Ix1XI4

BOBBY: Fit2befit......??????? please explain your thoughts

Fit2beFit: NO RV by 2017  - Besides TNT says today  :silly:    :silly:

OOTW: here's this

OOTW: BAGHDAD, Aug 7 — Fitch Ratings graded Iraq today as being at risk of default due to insecurity, financial difficulties and poor governance, in its first rating of the country.

The Islamic State group overran large areas of Iraq last year and the country is still battling to regain ground, while lower oil prices have hit its petroleum-dependent economy.

“Political risk and insecurity are among the highest faced by any sovereign rated by Fitch,” the agency said, explaining Iraq’s B- rating with a stable outlook. All B ratings “indicate that a material default risk is present. - See more at: http://ift.tt/1DwoWpZ... http://ift.tt/1Ix1Xb4

OOTW: still digging

Fit2beFit: Do any countries of there have a rating without thier own currency live?

Fit2beFit: out there

BOBBY: at least this site is willing to address the reality of where we are at in this

Donnie:http://ift.tt/1DwoWq1

Picture
OOTW: LETS EXAMINE THIS QUOTE FROM THE KEYWORDS PRESS RELEASE FROM TWO DAYS AGO - RE THE CHAT I PERFORMED ON THIS - THIS QUOTE IS FROM THE SECTION OF THE ARTICLE WHICH SPEAKS TO "SOLUTIONS" FOR IRAQ'S ECONOMIC ISSUES

OOTW: "2. Stimulate and activate tools and market domestic debt, through the issuance of bonds and traded in the market, which is a source basis for funding in most countries of the world, given that the central bank proposed to the government and the national bond issue worth 5 trillion dinars and local bonds, dollar futures against the dinar worth $ 5 billion, The government agreed on it has been assigned versions Bank manages on behalf of the government and will soon in the market. "

OOTW: wealthwatch.world/showthr... http://ift.tt/1MOyfDB

Fit2beFit: Do any countries out there have a rating without their own currency live?

OOTW: LOOKING AT ALL THE EVIDENCE WE'VE FOUND TODAY, I HAVE TO SAY THAT I THINK IRAQ WAS GIVEN SOLELY AND SIMPLY AS PASSABLE OF A GRADE AS THEY CAN HAVE IN ORDER TO LEGITIMATELY SELL THESE BONDS IN ORDER TO GENERATE REVENUE

OOTW: IT'S A TEST FOR THEM

EdoBini: Fit2befit, that's is a valid question right there.

Fit2beFit: ‹@EdoBini› Ok then I want an answer right now, or YOUR FIRED

Donnie: Payment Systems Iraq owns one of the most advanced electronic payment systems in the world. The system is designed to ensure the exchange of payment orders between banks automatically via an efficient and secure network. The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) operates and manages the settlement accounts of the participants to ensure the safety and efficiency of payment systems and clearing operations.

EdoBini: Have the CBI install the XBRL as yet ?

Donnie:  http://ift.tt/1DwoYhK
Picture
EdoBini: The non installation these XBRL systems could be the hold up of their exchange rate increase, l think

Donnie: ‹@EdoBini› did you read this link www.cbi.iq/index.php nothing you're looking for?

EdoBini: Thanks. for your wonderful Link. Very refreshing to read.

BOBBY: EdoBini do you believe that is why they have not added value to there currency?

Fit2beFit: Do any countries out there have a rating without their own currency live?

EdoBini: Yes, just read this heart warming Link @ www.cbi.iq/index.php. my mind is now at rest regarding the installation of that systems. Very important for the CBI.

BOBBY: i think there is more then the installition of XBRL slowing the process down

BOBBY: Fit2befit..... good question..... curious for an answer!

http://ift.tt/1Ir9gDj

] Fit2beFit: ‹@BOBBY› I know it just doesnt make sence not for them too

BOBBY: Fit2befit..... my opinion. ... its as simple as there not ready or in a place to sustain a rate increase

Fit2beFit: ‹@BOBBY› I agree

Fit2beFit: International live currency

Fit2beFit: how do you get a rating without it

BOBBY: to much hype, not enough grounded reality

] BOBBY: i think back to something Najib Najib said before, not until they get the corruption and security issues handled can they move forward with change

Donnie: ‹@TxBrand› WOW!!!

OOTW: ‹@EdoBini› THATS AN INTERESTING THOUGHT AND THE TENDER/BID STATES THAT THE CBI WAS TO MAKE A DECISION BY THE 23RD OF AUGUST

OOTW: THANKS DONNIE  I'M READING THE LINK NOW

BOBBY: OOTW.... Is amazing what some sites are promoting as far as a revalue

chattels: good afternoon all

EdoBini: OOTW, the CBI even expressed their desire to extent the bidding date to the end of September because of insufficient bidders applying . lt has been given me some nightmare. Thank Donnie again for the link he provided here for us.

chattels: I am trying to absorb what all of the recent news may mean for our speculation. Increasingly I am wondering whether there will be a public exchange opportunity.

chattels: Which begs the question regarding the legitimacy of any private exchange opportunities.

OOTW: I DO NOT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT BONDS TO EXAMINE ALL THE POTENTIAL MEANINGS OF THIS

chattels: ‹@OOTW› ?????????

sczin11: SEEMS LIKE THE CBI WEBSITE TALKING ABOUT THE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL BANKING SYSTEM, CONTRADICTS SOME OF THE FITCH STATING REAGRDING THE IRAQI BANKING SYSTEM, IS UNDERDEVELOPED..

HERE IS A QUOTE FROM FITCH.."...The banking sector is under-developed and fundamentally weak. "

HERE IS A QUOTE FROM THE CBI.. "Iraq owns one of the most advanced electronic payment systems in the world."

PERHAPS I AM LOOKING AT APPLES VS ORANGES.. IDK..BUT SOMETHING SMELLS FUNNY... AT LEAST ABOUT THE BANKING SYSTEM AND THE ADVANCEMENTS WE KNOW ABOUT..

sczin11: THE CREDIT RATING BEING ISSUED AT ALL, CAN BE VIEWED AS A VERY POSITIVE PROGRESSIVE ONE... IT IS ONE MORE REQUIREMENT FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPLIANCE AND STANDARDS..

BEING IN IMF ARTICLE XIV, IS NOT THE GREATEST, PROBATIONARY IF YOU WILL, BUT IT IS CERTAINLY BETTER THAN BEING IN CHAPTER 7...

THE BONDS BEING ISSUED USING THIS CREDIT RATING WILL HAVE TO BE OFFERED WITH HIGHER ANNUAL YIELDS, IN ORDER TO ENTICE BUYERS OF THESE BONDS..

IN TURN, THE WILL INCREASE PAYMENTS TO THE GOVERNMENT FOR THEIR DEBT, THE BONDS...AT THE SAME TIME THEY WILL BE SATISFYING IMMEDIATE LIQUIDITY NEEDS..

FINANCE COMMITTEE HAD ANNOUNCED A FEW WEEKS AGO, NO MORE CREDIT..THAT, AFTER IMF AND WB LOANS, JAPANS LOANS FOR ELECTRICITY, AND MANY OTHERS..FC WORRIED ABOUT FUTURE BURDENS OF PAYMENTS..

FOLKS..THERE IS ONE WAY TO RESOLVE ALL THIS...BY INCREASING THE EXCHANGE RATE OF THE DINAR,

THE COST OF THE BONDS WOULD BE EVEN LESS TO FOREIGN PURCHASERS, MORE OF A DISCOUNT DUE TO THE INCREASED VALUE OF THE DINAR EXCHANGE RATE, AND WOULD CERTAINLY ENTICE MANY TO COME ABOARD..

sczin11: wealthwatch.world/showthr... http://ift.tt/1eYCpuR

sczin11: AND sczin11: www.cbi.iq/index.php    http://ift.tt/1W6jJuP

chattels: so sayeth the " wet blanket "   IMO  chattels: :)

BOBBY: SCZIN11. ... the article that was posted said the rating was based on brent crude speculations.... correct?

OOTW: CHATTELS LOL

chattels: perhaps my poor attempt at good humor is misplaced

OBBY: Chattels. ... no its not  lol

chattels: someone reported to me that there was a ten day extension on the injunctive relief hearing for dinarcorp, but i have not seen any " ink " - anyone here seen anything ?

OOTW: NADA CHATTELS SORRY

chattels: ‹@OOTW› thank you

BOBBY: Chattels. ..... been seeing alot of talk about DU reported to the fbi on another site

chattels: news out of Kurdistan is still scarce in my observation - anyone else observe the same ?

BOBBY: sczin11 got time for a question?

sczin11: ‹@BOBBY› GO

BOBBY: The credit rating..... is that based on brent oil prices in the next few years?

sczin11: ‹@BOBBY› THATS ONE OF MANY FACTORS, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY.. AND IN THIS CASE, SOME MAY SUGGEST FITCH IS ASSUMING HIGH OIL PRICES, SO IF THAT WAS ALL THEY CONSIDERED, IRAQ WOULD PROBABLY END UP BELOW JUNK LEVELS..

Donnie: BAGHDAD, Aug 7 — Fitch Ratings graded Iraq today as being at risk of default due to insecurity, financial difficulties and poor governance, in its first rating of the country.

The Islamic State group overran large areas of Iraq last year and the country is still battling to regain ground, while lower oil prices have hit its petroleum-dependent economy. “

BOBBY: how can they even begin to speculate at 80 dollars with Iran s lines and domestic lines?
sczin11: ‹@BOBBY› DONT GET WRAPPED UP IN WHAT THE CREDIT RATING IS..BE HAPPY THEY GOT ONE..PROGRESS.. CAN I HEAR A ......??? LOL

BOBBY: its all in the details

chattels: " The Islamic State group overran large areas of Iraq last year and the country is still battling to regain ground, .................. "

chattels: " The Islamic State group overran large areas of Iraq last year and the country is still battling to regain ground, .................. "

chattels: " The Islamic State group overran large areas of Iraq last year and the country is still battling to regain ground, .................. "

chattels: “Political risk and insecurity are among the highest faced by any sovereign rated by Fitch,”

chattels: “Political risk and insecurity are among the highest faced by any sovereign rated by Fitch,”

chattels: “Political risk and insecurity are among the highest faced by any sovereign rated by Fitch,”

chattels: At least " Mr. Fitch " agrees with what I have been saying about the political, security and economic issues extant in Iraq.

chattels: The " wet blanket " may not be so " wet " after all.

BOBBY: Chattels..... preach on

star diamond: Evening everyone

RVPlease: Reuters had an article the other day... that since the IRAN sanctions have been lifted..and they are going to start selling oil.... that oil prices by next April.... could be as low as 35 dollars a barrel.... this FITCH... says 75 dollars... go figure...

BOBBY: RVPlease...... my point exactly...... thank you
