Bits and Pieces in Dinarland Late Thursday Afternoon 8-20-15

TNT:

Iko Ward : I always fall back on the economic reality that Iraq cannot do international business without the RV and all the multinational companies that want to come in and develop the country also cannot do business without the RV. So the RV is inevitable

Iko Ward : And right now China and many other important players want it to happen.

Blackjack7: It's quiet y'all …just like yesterday...watch what they do not what they say

Fireball92:
Reflecting upon this "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" (RV) ... 4 years ago it all seemed so simple. 1.2.3 and we will be done! RIGHT! LOL.

As it has turned out none of us had a hint about how complex and deep each step would be. It seems there are a series of very complicated and interdependent 'baby steps' required to be performed in an intricate and infallible order.
....
NOW I DON'T EVEN KNOW THE QUESTIONS. Nobody expected the complications that arose during the ride. These complications, (POTUS, Oil Prices, Iran, ISIS-Maliki, one and same?) LOL… .

Whether it is this week as "Always optimistic" Tony predicts or in the Sept 1-October time frame being embraced by many, WE ARE HERE….. That is what we can expect the RV.

It will be just another Ho-Hum day of waiting, then BAM! Whoop-THERE-IT-IS! …… Hang on Ya’ll!

Walkingstick  » August 20th, 2015, Nazi gold train claimed to be found in Poland
Matt Clinch | @mattclinch81

A long-lost Nazi train from World War II has claimed to have been found with a possible hoard of some 300 tons of gold, precious stones and weapons.

Two people in Poland have written to a district council in the southwest of the country and have claimed that they know the location of the stash. The two men are holding off on revealing the location of the train until being given assurances that they can have 10 percent of the treasure's value.
Picture
Walbrzych District Council confirmed to CNBC that it had been contacted by a law firm working on behalf of the two people. Marika Tokarska, an official at the authority, said that the council was taking the proposal "very seriously."

"We know that is a military train with guns on it. We can suppose that inside could be also other weapons or even dangerous materials. Even methane gas (could be) inside of the tunnels," she told CNBC via email.

"We need to take care about people's safety in this area. That way we couldn't ignore this information."

The army, the police and the fire brigade are now dealing with the situation, despite some skepticism from some members of the local authority.

A number of trains are believed to have been used by the Nazis in the 1940s to transport goods stolen from people in eastern Europe back to Berlin. While some might have made it to the German capital, others are believed to have been left behind as the Soviet troops advanced in 1945.

This particular mystery train is believed to be near Ksiaz castle, 77 kilometers southeast of the Polish town of Wroclaw, according to local media.

One of the men is from Poland and the other from Germany, according to Tokarska, who added that they would like to remain anonymous. The men described the train as being 150 meters in length and Tokarska told CNBC that she is certain the both would have been warned of the severity of the situation.

"I am sure that the law office, before deciding to take this case, made sure that is not a joke and informed them about the consequences if it is not true," she said.

Hitler’s Hoard: Mysterious Nazi Gold Train Allegedly Found in Poland

Reports are arriving from Poland that a Nazi ghost train, loaded with treasures plundered by the German Army which was mysteriously lost as it sped away from the Soviet Red Army during the chaotic last days of the Second World War, has finally been found.

Local authorities in the town of Walbrzych in southwest Poland said they have been contacted by a law firm representing a Pole and a German who claim they have located the missing train.

The claimants say they have found a 500-foot long “armored train” with gun platforms and a cargo of “precious metals”.

“Lawyers, the army, the police and the fire brigade are dealing with this,” Reuters quotes Marika Tokarska, an official from the Walbrzych district council, as saying.

“The area has never been excavated before and we don’t know what we might find,” she added.
The armored train is rumored to have belonged to the Wehrmacht; it disappeared into a mountain tunnel towards the end of the Second World War.

It is believed to have been dispatched by the Nazis from the formerly German city of Breslau (now called Wroclaw and part of Poland) as the Soviet Red Army made its final march toward Berlin.

Local legend says that the train vanished somewhere in the mountains near the present-day border between Poland and the Czech Republic.

The claim was lodged because under Polish law, treasure finders can keep 10 percent of the value of their find.
The Polish media however give their own explanation why the claimants might have informed the officials: explorers might be worried that the train could be booby-trapped with explosives, and therefore need the officials’ help.

According to Poland’s Radio Wroclaw, there are several theories about the train's fate. One story has it that the train entered a tunnel near Ksiaz Castle in mountainous Lower Silesian, just north of Walbrzych, and never emerged. The tunnel was later sealed up and forgotten.

"No one has ever seen documentary evidence confirming the existence of such trains," local historian Joanna Lamparska told Radio Wroclaw. "A handful of people have already looked for the train, damaging the line in the process, but nothing was ever found."

“But the legend has captured imaginations,” she added.

“In the region we actually two gold train stories,” she elaborated. “One is supposed to be under a mountain and the other somewhere around Walbrzych.”

Historians, however, say that the Nazis dug miles of tunnels in the southwest mountains of what is now Poland in one of the biggest construction projects in the history of the Third Reich.

The reason for the tunnels remains a mystery, and some believers in the ghost train argue the Germans may have excavated secret railway stashes and hidden the loot in one of them for safe keeping.

According to Radio Wroclaw, the 150-metre-(495-foot)-long train is believed to carry guns, "industrial equipment", gems and other valuable treasure.

The Nazis plundered loot from across Europe, and, as they faced defeat in 1945, anxiously hid it from the advancing Soviet forces.

Some were stashed away while other pieces are believed to have been smuggled out of Berlin by high-ranking members of the Reich to fund their own escapes and establish new lives.

According to Reuters, Nazi forces once sent 24 freight carriages from Budapest towards Germany filled with family treasures including gold, silver and valuable paintings seized from Hungarian Jews and estimated to be worth up to $200 million.

The train was intercepted by US soldiers who, according to a subsequent US investigation, helped themselves to some of the loot.

However, as the Third Reich’s top officials were killed, captured, or eventually grew old and died, the secret locations of much of the loot became lost forever.

Samir Abbas Alnasiri *: banking reform first step of economic reforms

In light of the political, security and economic conditions that currently the great awakening of the Iraqi people and the launching of our country experienced (reform revolution) by demanding root out corruption and the corrupt and the rejection of quotas, sectarianism and terrorism.

And reconsideration of the governmental structure with a view to reducing its state and strengthen their capacity to achieve the central objective of a democratic state (the people the source of authority) and the mobilization of state capacity and resources in the community, including contributing to the well-being of service.

Since the economic reforms form the basis of the achievement of the above.

It must be said that the fact the economic turbulent financial crisis in its Iraq began to affect a clear impact on the block the implementation of the government's plans and the private sector in economic development in addition to the apparent failure in creating and poor economic planning and lack of coordination between fiscal and monetary policies and the continuing inability of the new economic resources another year to the public budgets because of losses surplus from oil exports during the previous years cash reserves and the absence of a sovereign fund similar to other oil countries.

As well as the confusion associated economic vision backgrounds and rent-seeking by the Iraqi economy and the migration of national capital abroad which led to blurry vision, visions and ideas raised previously for the management of the Iraqi economy. So we need to lay the foundations and contexts and laws that serve to rebuild the economy according to a new insight into the potential dependent state and the private sector, particularly the banking sector and draw a phased roadmap and strategy.

That claim people's economic reforms comes because of the harsh all segments and components of bear suffering lack of livelihood Sharif and poor services, unemployment and poverty, where unemployment rose to more than 25% between youth groups and graduates who are able to work as the poverty rate rose, according to official data of the Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs to 31%

Which is reflected in the deterioration of the economic situation are added and objective reasons related to the economic domain, a drop in oil prices in world markets and growling at people's money because of the ratification of the 2014 budget and the lack of issuance of the final accounts for previous years and the manipulation of public money in addition to that war expenses on terrorism carried by the people through investment projects in the public and private sector stopped, which led to the spread of administrative corruption in young people's access to legitimate their chances of finding work and a source of livelihood for themselves and their families.

The great disaster that was one of the results of the above is the liquidity crisis that has plagued Iraq and in particular the government and private banks and 55 bank branches numbering including Arab and foreign banks operating in Iraq.

Because of the low and the high deposits overdue debt repayment rates higher than the standard set in accounting standards resulting Onhiaroavlass and will lead to some banks, which will create a lack of trust between the citizen and the banking system.

Which gets underway in some banks when you can not fulfill its obligations towards the customer and as the Iraqi banking sector is already suffering from many problems Since 2003, subjective and objective reasons. The uprising of the people in the (reform revolution) and the first package of reforms announced by the Prime Minister and approved by the Iraqi Council of Representatives calls to take into account lay the foundations and new methods of economic reform that begins to reform the banking because without sound banking sector can not build a sound national economy : So we suggest to Mr. / Chairman of Council of Ministers d.
