Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways said Tuesday that Iraq through third possession of the largest oil reserves in the world can contribute to the stability of the global economy and can have direct and indirect impacts on many economic aspects.
He Shaways during a speech in oil on Iraq and Energy Conference which will be held in the British capital London, that "despite the financial challenges faced by the country, financial allocations are still dedicated to the oil and gas annual budgets are high compared with other sectors."
Shaways said that "the priority is still concentrated in industry and oil infrastructure development, in order to achieve our vision of Iraq occupies globally ahead in the production and export of oil and gas sites, so that arrived in Iraq's export volume last April set an unprecedented about little more than 3 million barrels of more oil per day, including oil in the Kurdistan region, and we have plans to increase the production and export levels in the coming years to much higher numbers. With regard to natural gas production, we come to the self-sufficiency and currently we raised the level of dry gas user production in electric power generation. " LINK
