Fuze at TNT: "What History Tells Us"

Fuze:  The debate over the reinstatement of the Iraqi currency now versus later continues.

I think history can shed some light on this subject.

First off, those who believe in a later period of time are ignoring history both politically and in nation building.

Politically they argue,” first Iraq needs the unification laws, that is the host of laws like the National Guard, Sunni Arab Arms, Amnesty Laws and Sunni armament provisions etc…,

These are necessary to ensure unfettered support for Iraq’s efforts in fighting DASH and nation building”.

However, most students of history know that legislation passing at best is only a first step in a very long process to reach some semblance of the laws intended purpose; in particular when it involves matters of the heart.
History teaches that our nation’s highest court ruled on Brown V.S. BOE in 1954; integration and unification of the US school system did not start in earnest for over a decade later and there was no two thousand year old religious divisions at the heart of that conflict, only race.

Simply put, no matter what reconciliation laws are passed in 2015, the implementation, reasonable exercising of said laws and their benefit are decades away!

Please tell me that our illustrious leaders know this!

Those laws have been sufficiently addressed to have gotten and held the moderate Sunnis at the table this long, which is enough for a RI/RV.

The argument continues; Iraq is to unstable right now.

Guys please look at the history of nations and their currencies; come along history will educate us.

When did this nations’ Continental Congress first issue currency, was it years after the revolutionary war was won and the nation had settled into a period of peaceful prosperity?

NO! IT WAS DURING THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR, WHILE FACING AN ENEMY GREATER THAN ISIS!

When the Confederate States seceded from the union, did they wait until they’re attempt at independence was successful and stabile to produce their own currency?

NO! It was one of the FIRST acts of their independence
, if they had waited, we would not have confederate currency as a collector’s item today.

Let’s go back 1948 years ago; the historian Josephus will educate us. What was one of the defining moments of the Jewish rebellion against their occupiers the Romans?

Was it not minting their own coins in a futile attempt at reestablishing their sovereignty around 68 CE, in the midst of the uprisings, before the Romans returned in 70 CE!

Did Iraq’s neighbors Kuwait wait to rebuild its infrastructure to reinstate its currency after Dessert Storm?

NO! They did it by candle light!

History teaches us this one simple fact regarding nation building, a nation’s establishment or re-establishment of its currency has always been an early, clear and irrefutable representation of its sovereignty.

Until Iraq reinstates its currency, it’s truly not a Sovereign Nation. A nation cannot be a true sovereign nation while still using the currency and rate provided, by its former occupier.

Even if the occupier did put the  vanquished pretty cultural pictures on the currency. So of course Iraq has already attempted this RI/RV 100’s of times, just like Tony and DC has been saying!
Folk's history mandates that Iraq reinstitute its currency NOW!

IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF PM ABADI’S FIRST ACTIONS.

Subsequently, a
measure of peace and stability will evolve over time. It’s always been that way. In Iraq’s case, history is uniquely relevant due to her inherent economic resources,

unlike a Vietnam. The propaganda regarding all of these other items needing to be done first; belies history!

IMHO, Iraq is running out of time! If the GOI don’t batten down the hatches sooner with a RI/RV rather than later; the winds of history may blow this new GOI and unique historical opportunity away.

Welcome RI/RV     FUZE.
