Comments From My Ladies and Other Dinarians Friday Night

RE: Thoughts From a Dinarian:  http://ift.tt/1MTeEj0

MY LADIES:   DINARIAN VERY WELL WRITTEN AND GREAT THOUGHTS. PLEASE LET ME ADD TO THE COMMENTS

WE HAVE A NEW INFLUX OF VERY YOUNG NEW MILLIONAIRES. THEY ARE YOUNG ADULTS IN THEIR 20’S. I SEE IT EVERYDAY. PLEASE LET’S LOOK AT THE YOUNG TECH MILLIONAIRES COMING ONTO THE SCENE EVERYDAY. AND LOOK AT THEIR IPO’S. THEIR STOCK WAS INTRODUCED VERY LOW TOO.
http://ift.tt/1kRnKSh

THERE ARE MANY GOOD POINTS HERE FOR SURE, AND THE COMMENT FROM BOB S.  (posted below) WHAT ABOUT THOSE BACK BEFORE 2003 WHEN THE DINAR WAS AT 3-1. OVER NIGHT IS CRASHED. GOOD POINT THERE TOO.
....
I AM NOT SAYING I KNOW WHEN THIS WILL HAPPEN BUT I INVESTED IN THE DINAR AFTER CAREFULLY LOOKING AT IT AND REALIZING THAT WHAT GOES DOWN WILL EVENTUALLY CLIMB BACK UP.

THE THING THAT TURNS THOSE FEW FOLKS NEGATIVE I THINK IS THE ENDLESS BLAB LA OF ANY MIN AND SECOND, THIS WINDOW THAT DOOR, AND THE CONSTANT HYPE THAT GETS FOLKS TO GO RUNNING OFF TO THE LAYAWAY DEALER.

IF WE LOOK AT THIS THING AS WHAT IT REALLY IS WHICH IS A PASSIVE INVESTMENT, AND WE FOLLOW THE MARKETS AND LOOK AT THE WORLD CHANGES THAT ARE GOING ON IT IS PRETTY CLEAR TO SEE THAT MASSIVE CHANGES ARE TAKING PLACE ALL OVER.

IT IS CLEAR TO SEE THAT NEW BANKING PRACTICES ARE COMING TO LIGHT, IF WE FOLLOW THE DOLLAR AND LOOK AT THE SDR BASKET COMPOSITION AND LOOK AT THE POSSIBLE RESTRUCTURING OF THE RESERVE CURRENCIES WE CAN SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING.

IF WE LOOK AT ALL THE BASEL REQUIREMENTS AND THE MASSIVE CHANGES TAKING PLACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND EUROPE TODAY RIGHT NOW AND WE CAN SEE OUR INVESTMENT IS SOUND.

EMERGING MARKETS ARE TAKING THEIR PLACE AND IRAQ IS NO DIFFERENT, THEY HAVE A WAY TO GO YET I THINK BUT THEY ARE FOLLOWING ALL REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH BY THE IMF AND OTHERS. HOW WILL ALL MARKETS CORRECT AND EMERGE AND IRAQ REMAIN IN NEUTRAL??
I DON’T THINK IT CAN.

SO BRAVO AGAIN TO YOU DINARIAN FOR YOUR COMMENTS, AND JUST LIKE ANY OTHER LOW PRICED FRESHLY INTRODUCED STOCK THE DINAR WILL HOLD IT’S OWN WHEN THE TIME COMES. I DON’T SEE HOW IT CAN DO ANYTHING ELSE BUT MOVE AND CHANGE WITH THE REST OF THE CENTRAL BANKS ENTERING THE NEW BANKING SYSTEM.

JUST LIKE ANY THING ONE MIGHT BE INVESTED IN, STICK WITH IT, THIS WAS NEVER INTENDED TO BE A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME. WE HOLD ACTUALLY CURRENCY IN OUR HANDS AND HAVE EVERY REASON TO EXPECT IT WILL RETURN TO ITS VALUE ONE DAY.

AS FOR SOMETHING FOR NOTHING I DON’T THINK THAT IS WHAT WE HAVE HERE. THOSE OF US THAT HAVE INVESTED HARD COLD CASH AND HOLD DINAR HAVE THE EXPECTATION OF A RETURN, WHICH IS ONLY REASONABLE. WHAT KIND OF RETURN WELL THAT IS VERY SPECULATIVE AND I DON’T THINK WE WILL REALLY KNOW UNTIL THE CENTRAL BANK POSTS THE NEW TRADE PRICE.

AND AS FOR LIVING IN A DREAM LAND, WELL I DON’T BUY STOCK THERE EITHER, DON’T LET ANYONE STEAL YOUR SMILE. DON’T GIVE YOUR DINAR TO ANYONE, DON’T BUY THE HYPE AND RUN OUT WEEK AFTER WEEK AND SPEND MONEY YOU CAN NOT REALLY AFFORD ON HYPE CREATED LAYAWAY'S.

KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BANKING SYSTEM AS A WHOLE, DON’T LET IRAQ CONSUME YOUR LIFE AND IN TIME I THINK IRAQ WILL MOVE WITH EVERYONE ELSE.

LOVE TO ALL MY LADIES

Bob S. I agree with you 100%. In fact I would go one step further and say if I was holding iqd (as well as some of the other currencies) 20 years ago and I had exchanged my usd for the iqd, I would have exchanged at $3.22 for every iqd that I bought.

Then all of a sudden one day the value of the iqd plummets to 4,000 iqd for 1 usd dollar. I would have never imagined I could lose such an amount overnight, but I would have. Why now can I not see the value be restored to the iqd overnight and gain back that which I had lost???

The rv/ri always made complete sense to me, although others have such a hard time seeing it. To the persons who held iqd when it was devalued, having it go the other way is not a big gain, it a net transaction of zero.

Dr. R:  Thank you for your point of view. As a physician and someone who invested over 7 years ago from a very reliable and well connected source who made millions from other investments and had a very high level contact at Haliburton. We are def not tooth-less crackheads who never had money or saw the inside of a bank. I admit that some on those calls fit the description but not all of us are uneducated poor people. I totally expect this to happen as friends of mine prospered with Kuwait. Great post and go RV

Margot:  I' m with you! I understand what an Investment is and we do invest with the expectation of an ROI. Unfortunately, I know some people who don't see it the way we do. These people are the kind of Gamblers who go to the Casino, place a bet, and hope the Wheel of Fortune smiles on them that day and they walk out with a $1,000 or more.

They do it for fun and the Social and if they don't win, hey, well they got their kicks and thats OK. There are people who are Gamblers who see a good thing and they play and hope, play some more and hope, etc., etc., until they are nearly broke, they finally give up and walk away.

And then there are the People who go in with too High Hopes and Expectations (I know one!) and they are impatient because they have been waiting with bated breath for the Big Dough EVERY DAY. Some of these people have big bills to pay! Its tough out there.

I guess no matter what position we are in its OK in America to bet a little, so long as you "don't bet the Farm". And its OK to be hopeful, too. But for your own Peace of Mind you need to CONTROL yourself. Do I think I'm going to make a Boodle? Well, I HOPE SO! But I'd thank God and my lucky stars if this thing hits the Bell and I walk out with enough to pay a few bills and have a small vacation. It would have been WORTH THE WAIT!

Good Luck, everyone.
Original Post:  Thoughts from a Dinarian:

I wanted to bring something up that's kind of been on my mind to see if any of you have had any reaction to what I have to say as well. Mind you, I' don't feel threatened whatsoever, I'd just like to bring it up for possible feedback and other points of view, so here goes:

Dxxx Sxxxxxx and Xxx and 'many' others including some of our family members have made statements that imply that we are all... let's just say, not of right mind to think that we are going to get get rich on the RI/RV.

The main implication I take away is that we're living in dreamland if we think we're going to get something for nothing.

And this is what gets my dander up.

I don't see it that way at all. I, like most of you, invested cold hard cash to purchase foreign currency as an investment; we paid money for it in hopes of a positive ROI.

To me, it's no different than someone who purchases stock at a low rate and sells it at a higher rate. They hope to make money and often to become millionaires!

In my work , I've had many multimillionaires as clients who made their money on Wall Street by doing the same thing. Many of them started with little to nothing.

I work under the laws of confidentiality, therefore, they have no reason to lie to me about something like that.

So, how is what we're doing any different, and what makes it okay for these Guru type individuals in particular, to make us sound like we are ridiculously expecting to get something for nothing?

I invested my hard earned dollars for my currency, and so did most of you. And It's not okay with me to be treated like a "toothless crackhead" so to speak. If you were to see me, or deal with me in real life, those are the last things you would ever think of me or call me...

As far as I'm concerned there was a value exchange just as there is in any other similar type investment transaction. No one is giving you or I anything for nothing...

Do we have a right to expect to make money? Of course we do! Why else would we have purchased it!

And why else would they who attempt to shame us over our expectations have purchased it either???

Hmmmmmmm! Okay then, now that I've gotten that off my chest, I would love to hear any feedback my might want to share on this subject! :) xoxoxo
