Who controls the dollar prices ?!
[tlm724] Iraqi businessman resident between Erbil and Turkey met him in his office in Arbil during a short visit to Kurdistan last week - about the reasons for the fluctuation dollar exchange rates

[tlm724] and Laws like product protection, that in its self will even the playing field for production in Iraq and encourage further local investment !
[tlm724] they have the ability to move into a free market but the fight against terrorism and corruption is not easy to overcome. I am not making excuses for them I am just stating the obvious. Iraq is slow and we know it !
[tlm724] it's like pulling teeth just to get them to do one major change but the desire is there from some very smart people and to overcome the obstacles is difficult, Abadi has an economic plan and he is trying to get it done ! Maybe a change in leadership of the CBI will make a difference too

[tlm724] imo this is saying the CBI is finally going to do something. The CBI KNOWS how many dollars are needed for imports BUT they just let the bus run and sold more dollars to make a profit ! The auction had it's place at one point but not now, not in the middle of the currency reform ! This action caused a huge black market in dollars, lets be honest about this !
