chattels: ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) exported 18,614,798 barrels of crude oil, for an average of 620,478 barrels per day, in the month of September, according to a monthly export report released Tuesday.

The crude oil, which is currently selling for roughly $50 per barrel, was sent through the Kurdistan pipeline network to the port of Ceyhan in Turkey, the KRG said. .

Of the total exports, fields operated by the KRG contributed 13,898,548 barrel, or 463,285 bpd on average, while fields operated by the North Oil Company contributed 4,715,794 barrels, an average of 168,904 bpd.

The statement said: "Due to circumstances beyond the KRG’s control, during September there were two days of downtime for the export pipeline, caused mainly by attempts at sabotage and theft."

The KRG continued in September to increase its direct oil sales in Ceyhan to compensate for the budget shortfalls from the federal government in Baghdad.

The statement conlcuded: "KRG will continue to work with its counterparts in the federal government to reach a resolution on all the outstanding issues of oil and gas and in this regard it sees an opportunity for solid progress in the forthcoming discussions over the 2016 federal budget."

chattels: 10-6-2015 XXX : I am looking for some public move against Maliki anytime soon... Abadi appears to have what it takes - there is great public sentiment to support him...and too many public accusations for there not to be something to it and...once they deal directly with Maliki - it opens the door wide for monetary reform.

chattels: If Mr. Maliki is DONE, GONE, ineffectual, a simple nuisance or a " fly on the wall " then how or why is his future determinative upon monetary reform ?

chattels: Anyone ?

Lauren305: where is newbieDA? newbieDA what's the Parliament vote report for today? any numbers available yet?

disciple7: I been saying for years that this isn't gonna happen until Maliki is dealt with.. and he hasn't been dealt with.. but I believe its close.

Tootsie: ‹@Lauren305› Parliament not in session resume 13th
Tootsie: ‹@disciple7› not very darned much ! lol, sadly - interesting reading hx.

chattels: ‹@disciple7› I opined weeks ago that Maliki may be going, going, but he is not gone yet.

disciple7: ‹@chattels› chattels agreed!

Tootsie: ‹@chattels› sadly!!! not seen anything re: his 'vacancy' of quarters yet

disciple7: ‹@chattels› 100%

chattels: ‹@Tootsie› Are you or others of the opinion that I am too heavy handed or weighted in my approach with DAESH ?

chattels: The most important challenge of terrorism that is trying to eliminate his thought deviant this diversity in our society and we all face and the liberation of our lands, bringing peace and stability in our country and his sons enjoy its rewards [ Abadi Tweet ]

Tootsie: ‹@chattels› he** NO, not at all, people are underestimating those groups, denial, ostrichs w/heads in sand

chattels: Mr Abadi seems to think that terrorism ( DAESH ) is the " most important challenge ".

Tootsie: Abadi could not have stated it better ~ Most Important Challenge, to the survival of the Republic

chattels: Although at times he equates corruption as a " twin " obstacle.

disciple7: ‹@chattels› Maliki the head of DAESH?

Tootsie: socially, economically, historically . I am always aghast at the historical relics totally destroyed after centuries ~ not to speak of the constant destruction of infrastructure that has to be constantly repaired/replaced. The financial burden of this is overwhelming.

disciple7: I don't know just a thought?

chattels: ‹@disciple7› Head of the SLC.

chattels: ‹@disciple7› Oh

disciple7: ‹@chattels› possibly DAESH also?

chattels: ‹@disciple7› NO, just negligently complicit.

disciple7: ‹@chattels› gotcha

Lauren305: ‹@Tootsie› thought they were scheduled today and then lifting until 13th? guess being back at work for a full week was just too much for them and they require a week of vacation.

Tootsie: ‹@Lauren305› awwww, was the 5th , LOL, well, at least they do have meetings/discussions during the off time (or so they say) hehe

Tootsie: ‹@Lauren305› and they still have not put what we are waiting for on agenda, dang!!

chattels: ‹@Lauren305› Hopefully the heads of the political blocs are working to forge a consensus on the needed laws - budget on the near horizon - hope of some agreement on HCL

chattels: There are powerful forces working against Mr. Abadi and reform(s).

Tootsie: ‹@chattels› hcl, I will reserve my comments ,oops!

Lauren305: ‹@Tootsie› meeting to discuss how many dates to put in a pack is NOT progressing the MR lol
chattels: He is " walking a tightrope " between the Sunni, Kurds and his own party.

chattels: I will post again the following relevant and insightful article :

chattels: I posted this article some weeks ago - it is still relevant, IMO : What's next for Abadi? http://ift.tt/1U6ADse.... http://ift.tt/1U6ADse...

http://ift.tt/Xau4I8

http://ift.tt/1hYNi2i

Tootsie: ‹@Lauren305› oh my, ;-} actually I do believe that more has been accomplished in the last 8 / 9 mo than in the last several years, 8or so

chattels: " Abadi hopes to avoid confrontations among the different political parties and to make them feel that they are all involved in the reforms and that all will make compromises."

Lauren305: ‹@chattels› for a change, it seems there are some powerful forces working to back Mr Abadi and his reforms... Which had not been done in the past. Prior to August, the demonstrations and the re-enforcement of the Religious authorities, Abadi was swimming alone against the tide. Now he has some canoes alongside him.... Makes the marathon a little easier on him. Less wearing on him and his efforts.

chattels: " While his moderate approach has prevented any significant problems in the already fragile foundation of Iraqi politics, his tactics have fallen short of addressing the current challenges, failing to respond to the people’s broader demands and the expectations of the religious authority."

chattels: " Abadi continues to face a major challenge in that those who share power in Iraq — namely, the Dawa Party, the State of Law Coalition and the National Iraqi Alliance — have not allowed him to take bigger steps in terms of reform. Read more: http://ift.tt/1U6ADse...;
