Parliamentary Finance: deteriorating economic conditions disrupted the deletion of zeros from currency
Parliamentary Finance Committee....another of their talking heads....doing what they do best....talking about something they simply do not have control of.....the lifting of the zeros from the IQD.....I think Dr. S sees these articles and sits rather smugly and just smiles at the lunacy of what they have to offer.....he orders another latte, with skim milk please.....of course the situation is stable and under control.....but you don't have the authority to act....now do you....really....ho-hum....next.

Parliamentary Finance suggest the arrival of 2016 budget to parliament within days and emphasize: the deficit 29 trillion dinars
Here is another Finance Committee talking head that is good at what he does....reporting stale news that is days old....how long have we known to expect the budget by October 10.....plus the deficit is nearing 30 trillion IQD.....what he means to say is the Committee really doesn't have anything to do at the moment so we twiddle our thumbs and a few pick their noses.....awaiting better news that can be taken from some other source.
Adnan al-Janabi *: in 2016- Challenges and Solutions - balancing Discussion Topics
Looking into 2016 we see that oil and its byproducts remain the central hub for all of Iraq....even with deflated oil prices and Iraq working on increasing output while at the same time finding new markets for natural gas that was previously wasted at the well head by burning.....they still fall short from a budgetary standpoint....
Oil is without a doubt a huge commodity for Iraq.....and there are countless ways they can dig into their oil accounts and come up with revenues.....
There is without a doubt a strong need for improvement of their electrical grid...well what grid, they need to develop a grid to ensure reliable electrical service....
Then there are PM Abadi's reforms.....they need to snuff out corruption once and for all...that could provide a windfall in savings for the budget when applied properly...get everyone on the ration cards.....easy payment plans.....loans done in the blink of an eye and so on and so on.....
In 2015 there has been much talk of moving a number of public companies...."government run" companies....into the private sector....put your money where your mouth is...and make it so....let private enterprise put these sectors in the black for a change.....CBI....heavy sigh....
Just bring Dr. S back and let the CBI do its job....the results will surprise you.....further put a halt to state run banking....let the private sector be responsible for the progression of accountability in this area....and pensions....they need to be funded...social security needs to be funded.....again accountability to the right departments and levels will see this work.....get 'er done boys.
Deputy for the citizen: the government withdrew many of the laws to be modified
Yes the COM withdrew a number of laws that had been presented to the Parliament by the previous government, largely because there were flaws and issues with the laws....mostly surrounding corrpuption and money laundering activities I would wholly suspect....
Bring these revised laws back to the table for Parliament and get them voted on.....like yesterday.....this would include the Investment Law....lo and behold even the OIl and Gas Law....pry it from the clutches of COM and move it forward....along with a basket of other important laws as well.....National Guard Law, or whatever they choose to call it this week and the list goes on.....
The religious clerics and the people are being supportive.....on with the program.

Commission intends to propose the oil law on oil and gas legislation without waiting for the government
Is this called "taking government into your own hands".....wonder how far that will go for them.....if the government doesn't put the oil and gas law back on the Parliament table....the Commission on oil and gas will just have to do that for them.....like their tenacity......but for now it is just words.....action....action....action.
Print currency cost the government $ 250 million annually
And now for the "rest of the story"......Paul Harvey classic look-a-like.....so let's get this done and increase the power of the dinar to purchase....timing couldn't prove to be better I don't think....this should make a number of people happy....all over the globe...bring it on....your best game.
Iraqi delegation in Moscow to discuss the possibility of launching attacks against (Daash)
The International Coalition of forces....they are changing.....Russia is being wined and dined for strategic military cooperation and possible air strikes against DAASH strongholds.....but for now things are limited to intelligence gathering.
Break time.....be back later for more news to come I am sure. Aloha Randy
