Tootsie: Interesting, saw yesterday. There is conference going on here in Houston. A company called blueenergy , has a new, innovative (been producing for 3 years) wind/solar cell turbine.
The turbine is small, and spins with as little as a 4 mph breeze, but the whole turbine is covered with flexible solar panels, so generates both ways. The unit is on a 20' support, which can be put down if needed. I immediately thought they should be pushing this for Iraq! hahaha

15:11 BUDAPEST – Sources [font]have told Reuters[/font] that Hungary is increasing oil imports from the Kurdistan Region at the expense of Russia. Hungarian oil company MOL is active in the Kurdistan Region, and is thought to be the first large scale purchaser of Iraqi Kurdish oil supplied through the Ceyhan pipeline, against the December 2014 agreement between Erbil and Baghdad.
The company declined to confirm where the increase in seabourne oil was originating from, but more tankers inevitably mean that Hungary is purchasing less from Russia.
Although the source declined to give specific volumes, they did say that the imports made up about 40% of requirements at the country’s main Szazhalombatta refinery.
The oil arrives at the Omisalj port in Croatia, and delivered via the JANAF pipeline. A trader claims that the pipeline “is filled completely with Kirkuk”, taking one or two shipments per month.
Baghdad says that the KRG’s exports are illegal, and continues to threaten to take the Erbil administration to court. The KRG, on the other hand, claims that the reduction in the amount of the federal budget it receives has given it no choice other than to bypass the State Organisation for Marketing Oil, and sell to unspecified buyers independently – usually through an opaque network of dealers.

Tootsie: More on the tear gas issue ~ Sulaymaniyah Police fired Sulaymaniyah, Thursday, tear gas at the demonstrators after confrontations with them in front of the five meetings of the headquarters of the Kurdish parties in the province with demonstrators trying to enter the building for the meeting, while the 15 injured were transported them to the emergency hospital.
The reporter said Alsumaria News, he was transferred 15 injured to the emergency hospital in Sulaimaniyah for medical treatment, noting that most of them were injured by the use of tear gas fired by police.
The correspondent added that the five parties gathered in Sulaymaniyah decided to meet with representatives of the protesters and listen to their demands.

Tootsie: we *** about Iraq and its Parliament fighting ~~ heck, in reality, not any different than us or Britain or many other countries ~~ the parties don't want to come together. We used to, years back , seem to come to some sort of agreements (or maybe my brain forgot) but , goodness gracious. I just hate politics anymore. wears me out.

In an interview with the Guardian, the prince insisted that his demand for a change in leadership not only had growing support within the royal family but across broader Saudi society as well.
