Meeting a parliamentary presidential order to add new paragraphs to the investment law: vote soon
The Economic and Investment Committee in Parliament is putting on finishing touches to the Investment Law.....they expect it to be voted upon this month....in October....so says a reliable member of that committee....this will be a big success for the Iraqi government if they can get this moved through Parliament.....
By the way....what happened to their agreed upon 30 day window of drafts of laws being voted upon....has that been forgotten.....how about on with the plan instead....head 'em.....move 'em out.....yes sir Mr. Favor....who remembers.
Reconstruction UN representative Fund: allow to receive in-kind donations of their importance at the present time
Former CBI acting governor Turki heads up the committee that deals with reconstruction efforts for all of Iraq....he deals with the UN to provide donations that can be used for reconstruction related efforts.....he seeks donations from donor countries with the donor able to specify the type of projects their donations will be used for....this work is also being funded through significant assistance from the World Bank.....every penny helps.
Fistula: Put the savings in banks and ensure the increase of growth
Banking security for its customers tied to expected future growth.....a worthy project if it can be pulled off....but the big IF is whether the citizens will buy this idea and concept at all......will the return on their deposit in the banks be strong enough to draw them into the banks.....this stems from the CBI...and they claim it is Keywords talking....but what I'm hearing are the words from Dr. S I believe.....this is the sort of thing his highly intelligent mind would mastermind....keep your eye on this concept and where it will take us.
Parliamentary Finance's (et): Islamic banks will pay for the good atmosphere of the Iraqi economy
Can I get a wooorahhh for the Islamic Banking Law.....it's going to be a shot in the arm....a much needed booster for the Iraqi economy....providing good reason and incentive for people to deal with Islamic banks....whatever it takes baby...
Whatever it takes to draw them in with confidence to deposit their savings in the banks again....and think about it....another way the economy will be stimulated from these banking changes.....
There will be a big boon on mattress sales as the Iraqi citizens start to remove their money from the mattress they will need to purchase new mattresses....funny funny funny.....is it too early to laugh though.
Abadi Office: withdraw bills from the parliament in order to adapt it to reforms
PM Abadi's spokesperson relates some of the reasons why bills were recently pulled back from Parliament.....
One is they had sort of stagnated and began to smell....in fact they reeked of foul odors associated with the former government....
Two is these laws from the old government no longer fit the economic situation of the country today....I'm thinking....they had much corruption embedded within them and Abadi wants all that safely sanitized....what better way than to do it himself....or through his advisors.....
Shows his lack of trust with some members of Parliament these days....
and three these laws just don't fit the mold that is being created by Abadi's bag of reforms....bring them back to the COM, redraft and revote through COM and then present back to Parliament....
Then....chop chop....let the good times roll....go ahead....make my day....get these puppies in the deep fat fryer and let's make something of them that is worthwhile for Iraq and its citizens.

Follow the money trail....the rabbit hole will smell of graft and corruption and that hideous cologne that Maliki wears....it's really fly spray.....sorry Frank....just had to say that.....
May the Integrity Commission bring this Maliki Junior to justice and show his Dad the sad sack road he too will soon be taking. Aloha Randy
