sed45: IMO when you read this post it can sound like bad news for the Iraqi economy. However IMO I find it very interesting that this article would come out at this time and do not see it as bad news.
IMO it tells me that the Other revenue streams are coming on line to support the Iraqi economy and oil will be an extra to the Iraqi economy and not the main source of the Iraqi economy.
Look at it this way. The USA has a lot of oil as well and it is owned by the private sector for the most part. Our government owns land that oil is on and are government sell contract to drill on this land to the private sector.
As an example the USA has one of the largest economy that does not depend on oil and gas to fund our government because we have other revenue streams and we barrow like crazy also lol.
So IMO I feel that Iraqi economy will have other revenue streams going into place to fund the Iraqi government very soon I feel. FRANK26 I am sure if I am wrong you will correct me in your kind way LOL. But I feel this is a good thing. Sed45

Direct: An official source of the Iraqi Stock Exchange, Thursday, Zain Iraq Telecom has already filed an application to list its shares in the stock exchange.
The source, who preferred anonymity, said in a telephone interview for "live", it is likely that the stock market given its decision to the company during the next week. The Zain Iraq's leading mobile operator in Iraq, including serving 13.8 million subscribers by the end of 2014.
The company is part of Zain's leading mobile operator group in the Middle East and Africa and processed audio and data communications services to more than 44.3 million subscribers up to December 31, 2014.
Zain Iraq and to date has invested nearly $ 5 billion in the development of its network and the deployment of mobile services in Iraq, and until the end of 2014 its subscriber base reached 13.8 million subscribers, the company has recently launched third generation services in all parts of the state, after he got a spectrum license in return $ 307 million, the company today has a total of 4076 sites covering 98% of the population, as the company employs more than 3,000 employees of the Iraqis.
