General Dynamics Land Systems has been awarded a $51.4-million (60-billion-Iraqi-dinar) contract for logistical support and training for M1A1 tanks for the government of Iraq.

Zoom > G T I'll be surprised if Iraq can be successful at attracting foreign investment. Would you take a chance on losing millions or Billions.
The GOI lies to there people constantly so why would you expect anything different as an investor?
This country won't take the most logical step (Re-instate) healing their Economy.
Instead they pass laws they never implement, pass a budget but won't fund it, take loans but won't complete monetary Reforms. They are not looking good to investors like this imo.

[The GCC- Why So Important?]
The Gulf Cooperation Council is made up of six member states: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar. Between them, they control almost half the world's known oil reserves, and by the end of 2007 had accumulated $1.8 trillion in foreign assets--the equivalent of 13% of the American economy.
My Comments- One GCC currency is coming for the GCC member countries. It will be later after the Iraqi RV but it is coming and it will be a powerful dinar. It only enforces commitments to the collect all the remaining 3 zero notes from us within the completion of the project to delete the zeros. This must tke place first pror to any GCC common currency.
This GCC currency will be like the Euro in theory. As I stated previously it is yet another piece to the global governance project. One more piece to this long term puzzle being played out.

BGG ...there is an extraordinary amount of "financial mechanations" going on in Iraq as follow-up to Abadi's DC trip...
I will say Abadi came home with all the prizes... he left nothing on the table...respect, money, aid, credibility, good PR - he got it all...
After all we have seen - it is hard to jump to early conclusions, but he does appear to be getting the job done.
