Bits and Pieces in Dinarland on a Quiet Thursday Afternoon

TNT:

Iko Ward:
Forex ticked up this morning to 1115. Waiting to see if it reverts back to 1166 like it's been doing the last several days. If it doesn't I'd say we're on hold till Saturday. If it does go back to 1166 we'll see.

Iko Ward:
On a serious note, we are passed 10AM EST and Forex has not reverted back to the 1166. No joy in Mudville

TBirdd:  iko------thats good news for early in the day.

Iko Ward:  Actually, T, I don't think it is.

TBirdd:  Iko-----ohh i thought if it was under 1166 that was good... sorry

Iko Ward:  T..it's both. The lower it goes the more positive chance of an RV, but when they revert back to CBI rate it';s like they are setting up an even playing field.
....
Danblessed:  Im not sure what that means for us...the larger the number the better? or worse?

Messenger7676:
when buying the larger is better, when selling the smaller is better.

Greenrage:  Times are changing and we need to be able to read the signs...AND "If we are not ready~~We need to get ready" in many aspects of our lives.

Danblessed:
it’s a weird feeling. usually with the weekend coming up we think it could be any minute...but with Tony reporting that definitely not today or tomorrow, I'm sure everyone is just going start looking again for Saturday

Pastor John :  Friday, Sept 11, 2015 We remember the 3,000 innocents who lost their lives on that warm, sunny day of September 11, 2001 when terrorists attacked the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Let us never forget the loss of those lives and families devastated by this tragedy.

    China will intervene in Iraq

BY AT EDITOR on SEPTEMBER 9, 2015 in AT OPINION, CHINA, MIDDLE EAST
By Taylor Butch

China has consistently maintained its core principle of non-interference in the domestic affairs of other countries for over six decades, and it continues this policy toward Iraq during its ongoing battle against the Islamic State In Iraq and Syria (ISIS). Although Beijing maintains this strong position of non-intervention, over the past several decades its sharp economic rise and growing middle class, together with its need to secure natural resources, represent markers for potential deviation from this longstanding approach.

China continues to monitor the Mideast crises in Iraq and Syria because of the pivotal role Iraq plays in China’s energy and domestic policy. Chinese oil companies and the Chinese government share a concern regarding the outcome of the conflict between ISIS and Iraqi security forces due to Beijing’s considerable oil resources and infrastructure investment.

Last year, China was the largest importer of produced Iraqi crude oil at 22%, followed by India at 19%, according to a Jan. 30, 2015, report on Iraq by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Baghdad, in particular, holds key energy significance for Beijing, as it was China’s fifth largest oil source in 2014.[1]

JDTolle:  » September 10th, 2015, Bring positive energy

At times, other people will disappoint you. But that doesn’t mean you have to be disappointing in return.

In some cases, people will frustrate you with their recklessness and irritate you with their thoughtlessness. Yet the best response is not to be even more reckless or thoughtless yourself.

On the contrary, you have the opportunity to lead life and to lead others in a more positive direction. Yes, it takes strength and maturity, and yes you have it and can do it.

Imagine transforming a confrontational situation into an experience of cooperation and mutual respect. Imagine being the person to do that, and how quietly satisfying it feels.

Sure, it is naive to think you can resolve every conflict. But it is foolish to neglect the very real opportunities to work through differences in a peaceful and productive way.

See if you can swallow your disappointment and irritation, and look instead for ways to bring positive energy to negative situations. Chances are, you’ll make the difference that will make things better.
