Awake-in-3D: I did NOT say the ZIM was not exchangeable. Not even close to meaning that. I was talking about the SitRep report. No "whales" are exchanging ZIM... yet.
I guess this is why I don't care much for the scrolling chat room mode for exchanging important information.... things can get misconstrued and amplified in a heartbeat... yikes! ;)

Rocker66: Yes, the roll out has begun and SKR's are the first part of it. Those should be done the next few days

Rocker66 : Ok everyone, here is the deal with the Sept/Oct date or whatever outside date there is from the time groups go. So, when reading dates, please keep in mind the following: The Sept/Oct date may in fact be true but for the "public" rate change.
When hearing this stuff they need to at least have the ability to know there is the private side to this and a public side to this
Again, I do believe it will take 6 weeks to clear all level of groups prior to the "public" having access to it. So, dates like that can be true
The speculation part has always been whether this all goes at once for groups start first. It became very clear yesterday the roll out is to get the SKR's liquified and move to the other Tiers.
I think it is more probable to see a short window of being liquid from SKR's to Tier 3 groups. Not sure the public side is high on the list
With this roll out, there are even various levels of SKR's

Li to meet Lagarde, Kim as China hosts global groups before G-20

[BEIJING] Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will discuss economic growth, trade and finance in Beijing Friday with the heads of six global organizations, including International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde and World Bank President Jim Yong Kim.
The gathering, just before China hosts the next round of Group of 20 meetings this weekend, will also include leaders of the World Trade Organization, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, Financial Stability Board and World Federation of Trade Unions, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement Monday.
Mr Kim also plans to meet with other government officials before heading to the gathering of G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors July 23-24 in Chengdu, the lender said in a statement Monday. The World Bank didn't name the other officials Mr Kim plans to meet.
Bloomberg reported last month that China was approaching global economic organizations including the IMF, World Bank and WTO to establish an annual meeting that would give it a stronger voice on the world economic stage, citing a person familiar with the talks.
China is hosting the G-20 this year for the first time since it became a summit-level forum. Heads of state from the member economies will convene in Hangzhou Sept 4-5.
