Pentagon reveals the reason for the withdrawal of Iraqi forces from Ramadi
09:37: 05/22/2015 Khandan – The US Department of Defense, that the Iraqi troops withdrew Sunday from the city of Ramadi seized by organizing “Daash” terrorist because they thought the “wrong”, that the sand storm that hit the area that day may prevent access to US air support.

The spokesman stressed that the Iraqi forces fear was not misplaced because “the weather has not had any impact on our ability to launch air raids (..), but we found that the field commander was believed the opposite.”
He added that the withdrawal of troops from Ramadi was the result of “a unilateral decision” taken by the official building on the wrong analysis.
He pointed Colonel Warren that the situation of communications that existed in that moment between the coalition and the Iraqi leader was “not clear” so far.
According to the Pentagon, the international coalition launched seven raids in the gray area on Saturday and Sunday.
A spokesman for the US military command in the Middle East, Colonel Patrick Ryder announced last Wednesday that the sand storm in Ramadi were not only “some fog and dust” and that “the impact was non-existent” on the ability of coalition aircraft to launch raids against al “Daash” terrorist.

Dempsey: Iraqi forces voluntarily came out of the gray and did not force her Daash
12:02: 05/22/2015 Khandan – Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chief of General Staff of the US Army announced that the Iraqi army forces which had been present in the major cities of Anbar province city of Ramadi, chose to withdraw from the city and did not force them to the organization “Daash” terrorist.
He said Dempsey, telling told reporters on his way to Brussels, the military commander of these forces in Ramadi, “chosen individually on what seems to pull his troops to a more operations-defense point”, pointing out that the Iraqi and US authorities are investigating to find out exactly what happened in Ramadi.
The statements come at a time when the US administration official said that the fall of Ramadi, “a powerful blow in the fight al Daash efforts.”
It is noteworthy that Dempsey said in previous statements, last April: “The city of Ramadi is not a symbol in itself, better not fall, but that he fell and this campaign will not be the end.”
