Noise from the Pentagon indicates that DAASH is on the defensive in Anbar......especially so in Ramadi where it was reported earlier that DAASH cells had taken one of the main government buildings within the city......if so....their assault was short lived it would seem....the Pentagon points out the importance of having a united effort on the ground of Iraqi Security Forces, combined with the Peshmerga, Sunni fighters and even locals joining in the battle to put a stop to the DAASH assaults.
Netherlands are looking to extend the mandate mission in Iraq: the war against the long-term Daash
Netherlands is looking ahead in the fight against DAASH and seeking to extend its stay in the area past October when their current mission is set to expire....they seem to be willing to hang around to see the full extermination of DAASH....ballyho for them and their forces involved.
Abadi agrees to pay the salaries of Nineveh police
Nineveh Police Operations have been given their "green light" to pay the police force....this comes from PM Abadi himself....freeing up money from somewhere to get these folks paid....another sign of positive action.
Rafidain Bank launches MasterCard service for the disbursement of pensions outside Iraq
Wherever "there" is the retired Iraqis who live "there" can now be paid via e-cards from the Rafidain Bank of Iraq.
Central Bank reveals high cash reserves during May and is expected to continue
Due to increases seen in oil prices starting in April the CBI is reporting increases in cash reserve volumes for the month of May....they see a consistent increase coming in the months ahead too.

Specialists describe the central bank cut the rate of the dinar to the bitter treatment
Economic experts are saying they are seeing the CBI taking measures to reduce the 2015 budget deficit....one of which is reducing the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar.....it is effective immediately they claim but will also see a rise in goods at the market as a result.....there are at least two in the country we understand what will really turn things around for the Iraqis....they just need to stack hands upon the button and make it so.

So sales have been down for 2015....thank that on the Finance Committee and their insightful inclusion of Article 50 in the 2015 budget.
Expectations to make the port of Faw third largest port in the world
This is incredible news Family.....I say that because of what I know about the tiny port area that Iraq currently has....they truly don't have a great deal of real estate exposed to a major waterway and for them to predict they will be third largest by 2030 after renovations, updates, and expansions just seems incredible....
Ships have to use extreme caution today in navigating the last few miles to a dock the way things stand today and have to be very cautious of passing one another due to sunken hulks of other ships from years past....guess this will entail a large scale clean up of the approach to Faw as well....great news if they can pull it off.
I think I will call an early coffee break this morning in light of the forum struggles we've been experiencing....and at least get this much of the news summaries for your reading pleasure.
