Dinar Updates:
Q: [i do not understand who is holding this up?]
Millionday NOTHING SAYS THERE IS A HOLD UP -- A PLAN THIS SIZE WOULD COME WITH A DATE IMO -- AND WHAT IT IS WOULD BE THE QUESTION -- AND CBI WOULD HAVE THE ANSWER --
I DONT SEE A HOLD UP BUT DO SEE A LOT OF ACTION GOING ON.
THEY ARE CONTROLLING THE IQD IN IRAQ AS IT IS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL EQUATION AND THEY ARE REMOVING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE OF THE US DOLLAR SO THAT THE SUPPLY OF THE DINAR IS MUCH MORE THAN THE US DOLLAR FOR THE MONETARY POLICY AND ECONOMIC REFORM –
THE RESERVE AND SDR AND INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING COMPLIANCE HAS BEEN ORDERED –
BUT THAT IS JUST MY OPINION.

Q:[What indicator removes the rate that was thrust upon IRAQ.]
Millionday CBI IS INDEPENDENT AND HAS THE JOB OF RELEASING THE EXCHANGE RATES...
CBI SAID WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT THEY WILL RAISE THE VALUE OF THE DINAR AND RELEASE THE INTERNATIONAL RATES.
IT WAS IN A REPORT WHEN THEY STATED WITH THE BANKS THAT THEY WERE READY TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THE MONETARY POLICY AND ECONOMIC REFORM/BANKING REFORM ---
IT WAS MONTHS AGO.

Q: [many of the things they are working on has been going on for years i know this is a huge process but it could still take much more time right?]
wmawhite If it was going to take much more time why continue to push forward with all of the reforms. Why not wait?
IMO, the CBI, GOI, Parliament, WB, IMF are pushing because the CBI wants to do this now...IMO.
**********
Q: [It just seems with SO MUCH that is happening, they HAVE TO make the move to take the next step forward.]
wmawhite you are correct...they do.
Q: [Just way way way to many agreements have been stated then we have EVER seen in so many years...why all these agreements?]
wmawhite :you are correct...remember all of those trade agreements Iraq inked over the past year? Those are the countries that will help in supporting the new value of the IQD.

Willoninny: So I walked into a furniture store and the guy's accent sounds interesting. I asked where was he from and he said "Iran". I said I know no one from that country and he said with a smile and an extended handshake, 'I'll be you friend'. I then said, Iraq is about to revalue their currency right, he said, Yes I know.

Highlights from DC on Todays TNT CC via Adept1:
DC: it was a frustrating weekend, and we continue to wait. There were slight issues by the US, but nothing major and people are more relaxed about what’s going on.
In Iraq they continue to prepare; there are auctions about to happen and they need to adjust their plans at the Finance Ministry and the CBI. Those plans have been polished up to make a convincing case to the world.
No change from Friday, really: frustration is high, they are blaming the US. While Ramadi is important, there is nothing that cannot be overcome quite quickly and ISIL is on its way out.
DC: Ramadi is off to the west of Iraq, about 70 miles from Baghdad. Its’ the heart of the Anbar province, which goes all the way to Syria. It is mostly uninhabited, and it is Sunni based, just like Falujah (which is near by).
It’s more radical than most parts of Iraq. The town has been physically destroyed by fighting in the last decade. On Friday, ISIL set off five car bombs in the town center.
A lot of law enforcement ran out, ISIL entered the municipal center and claimed they had the whole town, which they do not. They are already taking the town back; there will be casualties, but it can be done quite quickly.
It’s more a PR stunt than anything else. I do believe that ISIL may win a few battles but they have definitely lost the war. They are on the retreat.
Tony: I want people to understand this because it was all over the news over the weekend. ISIL raised the flag, but things aren’t always what you hear or see. Take it with a grain of salt, and know they are a couple of days behind with the news. Things are changing as we speak, and you won’t find out for 2-3 days. Keep that in mind…
DC: Let’s talk about something we’re getting unofficial reports about from four different people. There have been more price changes in several Iraqi towns. Everyday citizens have found price changes when they go out to shop in the north and the south.
We don’t know what is going on in Baghdad re: prices apart from one contact who says nothing has changed there. Abadi, Shabibi and the council of Ministers met and pushed the process forward. We are hearing that the rate is basically 86-90 cents.
We’ve heard that from different independent sources. One thought is that Iraq has got tired of being clocked and are now saying ‘screw it!’, and another thought is that this is part of a slow rollout.
We don’t know the overall plan, we just know that some markets have changed their prices and people are celebrating. Also, there are articles everywhere saying that MasterCard (the smart cards are based on MC) are now international. So people can spend money anywhere they want to, at whatever rate, and also available to retired Iraqis living elsewhere.
DC: The Iraqi banks are still training and prepping and getting very frustrated this is not already done.
IN the US, there were some groups that were supposed to exchange, and some did exchange over the weekend but not many.
They are all highly frustrated with this situation. They have people on call all this time, and want it just to move forward.
As I was saying to Pam this morning, not that many have to be prepared because not that many people will go through in the first days – maybe 20K in the first day, quadrupled by the end of four days.
Most of the tier 2 banks will not be ready for day one. There might be 5,000 locations ready on the first day, so there might be 40 people per location each day, and that is not much to accomplish.
There are security issues, but actually processing of people is not that big a deal.
They have taken a step back and realized that they can handle this pretty easily. That’s why fewer people are on call.
That should be reassuring to people that they can get through this pretty quickly and easily. In the dinar centers like Atlanta and New York, there are so many exchange centers, it will not be that big a deal.
Caller: [Appreciation] A couple of weeks back, a woman asked if you had received your package… Have you received a bank package??
DC: No, I have not. I stuttered then because I choked on a bit of food then. We are all winging it during these calls, and I’m driving, and if I stutter or pause, that is why. Then people overanalyze that. I got her Macadamia nuts and have to send the thank you letter.
I have to get some real work done now, and hope the RV comes so I don’t have to do this stuff any more! Have a great day!
