Al-zaidi said that "politicians daash creating rumors to support their terrorist and sectarian tensions in Iraq", adding that "there is no disagreement between Al-Maliki and Al-Abadi, said the success of the Government Al-Abbadi is the success of the rule of law."
This leaked information from the said national coalition but has not officially confirmed the leadership of the Islamic Dawa party and a number of religious leaders would meet however today in an effort to dissuade Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abbadi on his resignation formally to the House.
The information that already has version Abadi of resignation to desk reference Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani in Najaf finished/3

G-Lin Thanks Philly. This is Maliki at his finest.
cornbread Thats why they need to get rid of maliki because he will not stop
DreamWeaver Abadi fuels fire by threatening to resign--as he's done recently and once before. Needs to just own it and lead. JMO.
Fredl Really have to wonder how Maliki is ALLOWED to continue being such a disturbance. They have plenty enough to put this guy away for good.
rissas dad Im not sure that was a threat. I believe and from the tone of those articles it was more of a "I'm not Maliki" thing. I'll respect Parliament if the consensus is for me to resign. I dont think he feels like he needs to at all.
Just a respect for the checks and balances of their government. Massum was the one who threatened to resign if the two big posts werent named in the alotted time.
DreamWeaver Think it's a mistake, RD, for Abadi to toss that out as I don't see it at all like an "I'm not Maliki thing." Though he uses it to stress consensus, he doesn't seem to want to fight for his legitimate PM-ship by ousting Maliki from the Palace--where he has no right living.
That's the residence of the sitting PM not the PM wannabee. Incomprehensible, really--but I find nearly all of Iraq incomprehensible anyway. :)
Flyboy DW...I'm with you on this one...all the way!
danny griffin maliki is a squatter. i don't know if that would be a bad name in iraq to be called a squatter, but if it is demeaning, they should continually call him a freeloading squatter and stress that he stays in the palace illegally while other innocent people have been run from their homes by isis. everytime i see maliki's name i just want to scream. what a piece of verman.
rissas dad They threaten to resign, threaten to boycott, withhold money owed, sign contracts then back out, refuse to kick maliki out of the palace much less arrest him all the while talk about all he did and didnt do and stole. Bottom line is they dont think like us, how can we anticipate what they do or why they say it?
Skylimit All is not what it appears, the articles are mostly propagada to mislead. I would look for information elsewhere to try and confirm ANYTHING coming out of Iraq right now. Security is now in the final stages both financially and on the ground, any real time information that could endanger those will not be allowed.
Rockstar Skylimit I would respectfully ask just how do you know that information?? I am not being negative as I really hope what you are saying is actually true as it would make me feel a whole lot better.

Aloha Alex Skylimit, Your post is like a ray of sunshine in the deep and dark abyss of a third world colonoscopy.
Skylimit Rockstar, how many important laws have been reported to have had second readings yet never voted on over the past year,
how many times over the past several years have we heard of a coming national meeting for unity,
how many times have we read the coming period (or year) will see the removal of the zeros,
how many times have we read HCL is done and the Kurds are happy,
how many times has the SoL party trying to bring down Abadi,
how many times can you reform the banks and ungrade the stock markets, or meet with the IMF and WB and never seem to close the deal?
It's ridiculous what's been reported vs. what can be substantiated.
I have other sources which indirectly tie into this (no BS intel) which allow me to cross check some of the items supposedly occuring.
This is being held up by the US and coalition until certain items are reasonably accomplished not all being directed at Iraq.
I have no way of knowing the ultimate timing or outcome of this just putting as many of the pieces together as possible. If you confine yourself to just the articles about Iraq and think the wonderful folks at the IMF will guide you home by completing a checklist - good luck.
