Text FRANCE 24 Last Updated: 07/11/2016 United States will send 560 additional troops to Iraq, according to the announcement by Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter. This brings the number of US troops in this country will rise to 4600 element.
US Secretary of Defense announced Ashton Carter on Monday in Baghdad that his country would send an additional 560 soldiers to Iraq to help in the fight against the "Islamic state" with the willingness to battle the restoration of Mosul.
This brings the number of US soldiers deployed in Iraq will rise to 4,600 element, and most of them offer advice and are training Iraqi forces.

11-07-2016 03:58 PM Iraq today , House Speaker Salim al-Jubouri said during his meeting with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jan Kubiš, in his official office, said on Monday that 'the legislation of laws is a priority in the work of Parliament during the new legislative term.'
A statement by the Office of the al-Jubouri today: that 'the meeting, they discussed developments in the political and security situation in Iraq and the victories of our armed forces recently, as speaker of parliament stressed that the liberalization of Qayyarah air base is a big step and paving for the Liberation of the city of Mosul and the eradication of Daash terrorist from the land of Iraq completely,
stressing the importance of the UN role in rallying the international community to support Iraq in the fields of security and humanitarian '.
The statement pointed out that 'the meeting dealt with the work of Parliament in the new legislative term, where al-Jubouri said that the House will work on important legislation of laws particularly with regard to the elimination and laws on national reconciliation or reforms that support implementation in line with the Constitution.'
He added that 'the parliament session will discuss the security file and the repercussions of the terrorist attacks, which affected the Karrada district, which targeted innocent people by lifting the recommendations that will be transformed into practical decisions limit security breaches in the country'.
For his part, Kubis said the UN was keen to support the efforts of the parliament, and support for Iraq in the completion of important laws that would restore stability to the country.
