Islandg1211:  When Jack Lew signed off on Iraq's debt last week, WS posted the article on the banks being 98% completed with their reforms, and the ISX closure,  I posted, feeling IMO, things were not only getting done, but had become public, "What else do we need?" Today, we see articles on:

4) MALIKI INVSTIGATION FILE OPENED:

....
5) ARRESTS:
Arrests for some involved with the withdrawal of troops when ISIS invaded Mosul.

InHim:  IMO, this is all very good news!

Didn't Frank once mention that the BIG DOGS show up prior to the big events to iron out the wrinkles or to add a little "encouragement" to those doing the work.  This is getting exciting.  Thank you for laying all that info out.

Aggiedad77:  I'm liking your summation of news and events today.....to the point....it paints an exciting picture for us to take into the upcoming weekend.....exciting times no doubt.....thank you.    Aloha    Randy

ReddStarr:

Islandg1211:  Interesting that today we see a published picture of VP Biden shaking PM Abadi's hand. Us old timers will well remember when the VP didn't even leave the Baghdad airport.

We've come a long way since those days.

IMO this photo op, and the timing of it, is very positive, indicting the full support the US is giving Abadi, and Iraq's PM accepting the US support.

VP, Sec of Defense, and Sec of Treasury all in Baghdad. This is so historical. "I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!"

Aggiedad77:  I have to agree with you, and don't even mind being called an "old-timer"....LOL.....

When I first saw the reports of Biden stopping in Baghdad the very first thought I had was about whether or not he would even deplane or leave the airport.....it's good to see the positive gesture on his part....also good to see the Iraqi's making time for him too.......

."something's in the air tonight.....hold on.....hold on"......no I'm not singing....just thoughts of a song.

Aloha  Randy
