Airlines announced Iran "Iran Air", Sunday, about reaching a written agreement with the US aircraft manufacturer "Boeing" to buy a hundred passenger plane in order to renew its fleet.
He said Iran's Aviation Organization Director Ali Abed Zadeh said in an interview with the newspaper "Iran" government, "will be replaced with 230 aircraft out of 250 present in the country," adding that "the agreement with Boeing is waiting for US government approval."
He Zadeh, that "Boeing filed a formal request from the US Department of Treasury for final approval for the sale of the aircraft," noting that "the signing of the final agreement will be between the two sides after obtaining such approval."
Zadeh pointed out that "the value that circulated by some media, which amounted to $ 17 billion is not final and that the details of the agreement will be determined after further negotiations."
It is noteworthy that Iran has already concluded last January, a memorandum of understanding with the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus to buy 118 aircraft.
Airbus should get a successful US Bureau to adjust the foreign funds associated with the Treasury Department, including that more than 10% of American-made aircraft components.
