BAGHDAD - June 27 - June - IRNA - arrived about four million visitors, including Iranian visitors to Najaf to commemorate the martyrdom of the faithful Imam Ali, peace be upon him and revive the nights of Qadr in the month of Ramadan.
Four million visitors arrive in Najaf to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS)
She said the police command in Najaf in a statement issued Monday that the number of Iraqi visitors reached three million and 500 thousand visitors and foreign visitors, 300,000 visitors.
The statement added that during the nights much ceremony and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him
There has been no security incident in Najaf.
About 25 thousand employees of the Iraqi security forces has been involved in providing security in the holy city of Najaf.
It ended in 1837
