Zebari said in a statement to Reuters, seen by (long-Presse) that "Iraq is expected to receive $ 600 million in the month of September from the International Monetary Fund, the first batch of US $ 5.4 billion loan promised to the international organization to extradite him over three years under an agreement announced by month the past".
 
Zebari added that "it is expected to sell bonds worth two billion dollars during the last quarter of this year, when the international financial aid begins to come to Iraq," noting that "this measure will help the country to reduce the cost of borrowing."

Washington: Development Management Developer Program will ensure transparent management of funds in Iraq

A statement of the embassy "Qishleh" received a copy of it today, "the US ambassador to Iraq, Stuart Jones, with the participation of both the Minister of Planning Salman Jumaili and director of the Office of the Prime Minister Mahdi Keywords activities of the Ministry of Planning conference under the title" Development reform program in Iraq, "which was held on Thursday June 2 Rashid Hotel in Baghdad.
 
The conference also attended by several members of the House of Representatives and officials of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers as well as several representatives of government ministries and provincial councils and the private sector.

The process of improving the management of the economic assets of the country's vital factor contributes to strengthening infrastructure and improving the quality of services provided to Iraqi citizens. He congratulated Jones According to the statement the Government of Iraq on these new reforms, stressing its implementation at the national and local levels in the governorates.
 
And he stressed that these new reforms will help in the supervision of the capital investment of the government's budget, worth 400 billion US dollars, as well as that these reforms are of their importance in solving the problem of delays that led to the suspension of nearly 4,000 projects, as it will ensure the availability of better prospects for the government to sign contracts with solid reputable firms which reduces conflicts, corruption and waste to a large degree.
 
The statement concluded by saying, "In this regard, the US Embassy in Iraq, and through the project administrative reform (thread), funded by the US Agency for International Development, supports the efforts of the Government of Iraq's efforts to build capacity in order to provide better services for Iraqi citizens."   LINK

These key reforms will play a critical role in ensuring the fair and transparent management of public funds.  Improving the administration of the country’s economic assets is vital for enhancing infrastructure and quality of services provided to Iraqi citizens.
 
In his remarks, U.S. Ambassador Stuart Jones congratulated the Government of Iraq on these new reforms, emphasizing their implementation at the provincial and national levels. He underscored that these new reforms will help with oversight of the government’s $400 billion capital investment budget.
 
They are critical to resolve delays that have stalled nearly 4,000 projects and will ensure better prospects for the government to sign sound contracts with reputable companies, thereby significantly reducing disputes, corruption and waste.
