DELTA comes in with an update on the article he posted two days ago….some of you are asking questions like….why would you bring this back all the way from 2012…..this was shared just to give you more confirmation of what DELTA and Frank shared with you a while back that is essentially Iraq cannot go international until they follow the IMF guidelines…they have to lift the 000’s….
We told you some time ago that Iraq was out from under Chapter 7, their sanctions were lifted….but one thing was kept on purpose….this was their currency….the most important issue for them…..we all know that the US, IMF, World Bank, Paris Club have all been involved with Iraq….we know that Iraq went under Article 14 transitional….that is why you could not exchange your dinar at any bank nationwide….
So there have been many discussions between Iraq and the IMF about getting laws and money from left and right…finally the IMF has agreed to give Iraq a $15 billion dollar loan spread over three years….but the most important part here Family….and I know some of you have asked on the forum about the difference now and what Iraq has done in the past with Standby Arrangements…..the difference is that before with regard to SBA’s Iraq was under Chapter 7 with the UN….that money earlier was given to help them as they moved from Chapter 7….but right now the IMF is giving a loan to a sovereign nation….so today’s difference is that they cannot take this money from the IMF unless they are Article 8 compliant….
With this offer of the loan from the IMF they are telling Iraq in order to get this by June you must implement some reforms….so the reason for this article from 2012….it clearly is stating that the IMF is willing to help Iraq financially on the condition of the deletion of the 000’s….of the things they IMF is asking Iraq to do…everything is basically done…except for the 000’s….this would phase out the 000’s notes gradually, it would bring value to their currency….they will liberate their currency and add value to the dinar.
If you go to the IMF website and look at Iraq under currency you will see an SDR rate of 2.63 all the way down to where they have the 000’s in the rate now….by lifting the 000’s they enhance the value of the currency…which means they drop the 000’s from the SDR for the nation of Iraq and then the true value of the Iraqi dinar is going to come out. Without this it is impossible for Iraq to grow…..
The IMF gave them until June because they want to be assured they are going to get the reforms done that they want to see…..so what is left….they need to lift the 000’s, they need to be accepted into a currency basket, announce a new rate, and they must move forward into Article 8.
I just noticed on the CBI website they added another item today that says in English this time….CBI Blacklist in according to FRBNY…..Federal Reserve Bank of New York….this is the blacklist of Iraqi companies or entities that cannot do business with US at this time….they are using this to point to the fact that they are getting ready to do something IMO.
