TONYV says():IMO, once we see the government banks (Rafidian and Rasheed) 100% privatized, we will be within a short window for Iraq to move forward with IMF Article 8 compliance and acceptance. Last I heard, the project to convert these banks was 90% complete.

I believe PM Abadi removed Finance Minister Zebari from this project because it was not moving along fast enough. I believe PM Abadi is overseeing this project personally as he has the finance experience. Has anyone heard if these government banks are 100% privatized yet?

larrykn says to TONYV():I have not heard as yet
hutch says():I broke my finger last week. On the other hand, I’m okay.
