David212 says to rcookie():GM rcookie sorry to panic but whats up with what appears to be a news release that says US envoy trying to prevent Abadi overthrow? I hope it is a fake

http://ift.tt/1qp8mTw

David212 says to samson():you mean this article ?

samson says():The above article does not state he is going to Baghdad to stop Abadi's overthrow so IMO it is BS and just a typical scare theory being spread - could be wrong

David212 says():This one    http://ift.tt/223bS1s; bad link
David212 says():Okay I guess I am an idiot to react

samson says():Not at all David - there is a link for that source at bottom of article. Takes you to an Iraqi news site so a different slant on the article I gave you.

samson says():As the article state 'the source' said so maybe the source is exaggerating and putting their own spin on it - who knows

DIGIman1 says():we need to apply 'the 48hr rule' to things like this....just let it shake out....chances are, it's not as it may first sound....

David212 says():Your right obviously there are so many people at high levels who will be indited there is

David212 says():but Abadi is in control andq that is what I take away from BGG, rcookie ,firefly , wawhite etc I trust there and follow their views. What do I really know Zero. I would like there opinion on if Abadi has moved past the point of a serious challenge now that Sadr called him a hero

David212 says():My spelling is so bad I need a straight jacket

hillandale says():i saw that same article in the Boston Sunday Globe this am

wmawhite says to David212():The short of this is that the Kurds wanted 20% of the new cabinet (GOI) positions. PM Abadi's list had the Kurds filling 2 positions..........and as it has been forever, whether it is the budget or ordering dinner, or who sits up front in the convoy, the Kurds ALWAYS never agree to anything until after the deadline has passed.

wmawhite says to David212():P.S.........20% of 16 ministers is 3.2........................IMO, Abadi knew this was coming and it will be a process that he (Abadi) is extremely good at doing.

David212 says():Okay wmawhite thank you.
