Iraq holds intensive talks with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on economic reform

Iraq holds intensive talks with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank on economic reform

He held the Iraqi delegation, the statement said "intensive technical talks with the IMF team on existing programs to promote the process of the financial and economic reform in the country."
The statement added, "The delegation also held technical discussions with the World Bank team on development projects and programs to combat poverty and diagnose the symptoms of imbalance in the Iraqi economy and prioritization of reconciliation."

According to statistics of the Central Bank sold about $ 9 billion bank in Basra to sell foreign currency since the beginning of the year 2016.

Baghdad/range-wilko A high-level source in the customs body, on Friday, the Commission sought to abolish all customs exemptions because of the financial circumstances of the country, and among it made more than 53 billion dinars last month after the new customs tariff application, economists pointed to the need to implement a package of economic laws to increase non-oil resources of the country.
The source said in an interview with the (extent), the Commission seeks to abolish all customs exemptions in law No. 22 for the year 2010 through the use of the powers of the Ministry of finance ", stating that" the Commission considers that there is no justification for these exemptions under the current financial crisis experienced by Iraq. "
The source said on condition of anonymity that "KIA llkmark trying to invest the provisions of article 15 of the law on budget for 2016 that allowing government departments to run jointly with the private sector to develop the demarcation alkmarki transactions in ports".
And between "this command includes the provision of infrastructure such as hoisting scales and sophisticated sonar devices, computers and information systems in addition to the link between the port authority and the Ministry and this surely will reduce the employee's personal diligence margin considerably and thus reduce the chances of financial and administrative corruption."
He drew attention to the source of "revenue Commission reached during the month of March (fifty-three billion, six hundred and fifty million, six hundred and sixty-two thousand six hundred and ten dinars) after application of the customs tariff, adding that KIA llkmark detachments developed its cooperation with the security services in many fraud detection alkmarki".
