"noting that" our imam {G} was the banner of reform and Imamate holder, but treated wisely and patiently biting the surgeon in order to preserve the prestige of the caliphate, and its institutions, and gave the best advice to successors who preceded him with disagreeing essential with them, this is a faithful {p} protector of Islam, and the flag holder behavior, and guardian of the Prophet. "

"

tlm724    "We will overcome this crisis, God willing, despite the seriousness of the amount," he said. tlm724:  Hakim really calls them (the corrupt)  out in this speech ! He is saying there is no way we will let them slide this time ! There is another article that addresses the true feelings of the people and I want to show just a few quotes from that :

When corruption becomes a doctrine and approach

April 20, 2016 23:33  Dr. Yousef Al-Saidi

http://ift.tt/1WIwexA

same climate aspects of small corruption .. that killed people from lower levels, and was able to corrupt bureaucracy to keep him approach and doctrine .. even become a pattern of living we live because when generalized corruption is no longer one could talk about it or object to it ..

tlm724:   the corruption started at the top and also at the bottom of society, so much so as stated it became a "pattern of living" . It grew almost out of necessity, the only way many could get by. Much like parents setting the example for their children, the people did what their leaders did !

As long as the circle widened encompassing a wide network .. in their interest to turn a blind eye or remain silent about what is going on

tlm724:  Everyone looked the other way, I would imagine many felt well if you can't beat them, join them or if I speak out then the powerful will have me and my family killed.

just a debate about corruption absurd ..hanha individual loses his ability to gradually resistance, and above has a selfish desires and abandon the principles and values also relinquish his respect for law and order ..
tlm724:  The average person and maybe some higher up's as well find this all laughable, the talk about prosecuting the corrupt. It's an old tune to them and they heard it way too many times. Just more of the same old BS.

tlm724:  But this time things are different, the drop in the price of oil has made the difference ! Iraq has always been fat with oil revenues which allowed them to let the bus run and ignore all the things that make a free market, infrastructure, factories, exports and laws ! Not anymore, that bus has run out of gas.

And then ends the case to abandon his humanity and self-respect and to others, and any steps to fight it remains just talk

tlm724:  Having Hakim say they intend to follow through with the prosecution of the corrupt is a good thing but only time will tell. I know the people are fed up and the protesters are trying to make their voices heard.

The problem lies in the people in charge, those using their continued influence over the situation, the likes of Allawi , Maliki etc.. those are the ones that should be sent to the gallows but they won't be because they covered their tracks, there will be fall guys !

It is a tremendous undertaking for those that actually have the best intentions for Iraq and they KNOW it must be done and done right ! They meet opposition at every turn but with the support of the religious leaders this should transform Iraq, get these reforms off the ground and begin anew !

Shredd  I'm hopeful we'll start to see some meaningful change. Thanks timmy
