rcookie says():SO....OBVIOUSLY SECURITY AND IMF MEETING/ECONOMY AND PARLIAMENT STATUS DOMINATE FOCUS...BOARD OF COR MET WITH POLITICAL BLOC HEADS AND SECURITY...DEFENSE AND FINANCE COMMITTEES...AND MADE RECOMMENDATIONS...

rcookie says():DEMOCRATIC & POLITICAL PROCESS OF HOLDING COMPREHENIVE HOR MEETING THIS WEEK...FORMING COMMITTEE OF POLITICAL FORCES TO CREATE & PREPARE PROPER CONDITIONS FOR THE MEETING AND FACILITATE HOLDING A UNIFIED & COMPREHENSIVE SESSION...

EXTENSION OF LEGISLATIVE TERM DUE TO STATE CRISIS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPREHENSIVE REFORMS AND PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO ACCOMPLISH BASIC LEGISLATION...

DIRECT PARLIAMENT COMMITTEES TO RESUME THEIR DAILY WORK ESPECIALLY THE DEFENSE... FINANCIAL..SECURITY & ECONOMY TO AACCELERATE LEGISLATIVE AND EXECUTIVE ACTIONS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO OVERCOMING CURRENT ECONOMIC & FINANCIAL CRISIS...

AND QUESTION SECURITY CHIEFS REGARDING NEGLIGENCE IN RECENT SECURITY BREACHES (BOMBINGS)...

pizzaman says to larrykn():I agree with your hope but doubt that the parliament trouble makers will have a change of heart. My question is how they are going to deal with these trouble makers. Will they have sufficient numbers in parliament to have a quorem without the trouble makers and be able to out vote them to get the needed business approved and done?

larrykn says to pizzaman():good question, I can only hope so, to me it just seem they come to far not to get it done
larrykn says to pizzaman():one way or the other
pizzaman says to larrykn():agree...it has to get done

larrykn says to pizzaman():it seem that politic side is not concering them that much because the are moving right ahead with the monetary reforms

pizzaman says to larrykn():but doesnt what they are working on ultimately come down to a needed vote of approval to implement ?

larrykn says to pizzaman():either that or Adibi fires them all an put a proxy government in till they can vote in a new parliment and imo the proxy government could pass those laws

larrykn says to pizzaman():that is why I said one way or the other  demand all political forces immediate session to address disabled peoples issues...emphasized mp's historical responsibility to save country from deteriorating and performing constitutional duties to the fullest starting with this upcoming session...identifies this as critical juncture of security & stability threats..and necessitates action on anything that serves the interests of the people...

and accelerate implementation of desired reforms of cabinet reshuffle and ending the corrupt by bringing to justice....call on martyrs sacrifices and parl to take responsibility to place democracy as basis for uniting and working past conflicts....and advance the real demands of the people....

pizzaman says to larrykn():I kind of wish Abadi would have taken that step a week or two back...but I can't say I know what the negative consequences of that decision would have been, if there are any. Maybe Abadi would have created more political enemies that desired...I have no idea.

pizzaman says to rcookie():Hi RCookie...can you provide a perspective of how much bite this statment and action plan have. Seems like the right steps to get started and address necessary business, but how do the trouble makers get dealt with or are they no longer a factor for some reason? Does Jubouri have the quorem and votes needed to get whatis needed in your opinion?

rcookie says():THEY ARE AT THIS MOMENT...IN AHMAN JORDAN...SITTING ACROSS THE TABLE LOOKING THE IMF...WB AND G7 DELEGATES IN THE EYE...NEGOTIATING THE FINAL TERMS OF SBA WHICH IS THE ONLY POSSIBLE HOPE THIS COUNTRY HAS FROM TOTAL ABYSS...

Meanwhile, Tehran called on the leader of the Shiites in Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr, whose supporters took over parts of Baghdad's Green Zone last week, to return to Qom, the center of religious rule in Iran. He was ordered by Iranian clerics to whom he is subordinate to rein in his supporters in Iraq and cease his actions against al-Abadi's government.
